am I correct in understanding that the 'bismillah parho aur halal ho gaya' is a position of the maliki school, and that is why a lot of north africans dont have a problem with zabiha/halal or less of a problem?
i always advocated my sunni friends to go for it (not as a joke) based on this.
I think thats taken out of a certain context, I dont believe its as clear cut as that.
I personally have never read that anywhere. I thought it was made up by modern pakistanis.
