I think they do exist but they are becoming rarer by the day. Here in the UK, marriage is skewed in women’s favor, but prenups are now enforceable as long as they are fair (I actually spoke to one of London’s best international divorce lawyers about this yesterday - she works for a firm that effectively set the precedent for prenups).

The thing is, guys who won’t be abusive to their wives, expect them to be slaves to the kitchen or cleaning maids are fearful of marrying an entitled princess who will turn 180 25 years from now due to a MLC.

The girls you talk about, professional but traditional, are afraid of ending up in abusive relationships with mama’s boys who make them work, cook clean and take crap from sasu amma.

Now how do we pair up the modern thinking but traditional guys with professional yet traditional women? Let me know when you figure it, would love to know!

I actually don’t want to control anyone, I want her to be my best friend. I want to respect her and our relationship and I hope she will respect me and our relationship in return. I just want a girl who understands herself what appropriate boundaries are when in a relationship and knows how to adjust, self regulate and self reflect. I myself have a very self reflective personality and constantly try to improve myself. I’m a physician I have enough things to worry about, the last thing I want is to worry about my wife. I want confidence in my wife’s ability to act decent and classy. In my experience, traditional girls have perfected this better than the modern girls because they’ve been raised in a way that’s more geared towards maintaining a marriage as a team and doing for each other and that its okay to sometimes sacrifice and compromise for each other, rather than doing whatever interests them regardless of their partners likes or dislikes. And it should go both ways, husbands should also be willing to adjust. Modern girls eventually adjust also typically after marriage although after countless fighting lol..seen it so many times. I don’t have time or desire to teach anyone how to not act single anymore.
