What are your views on working ladies who became housewives? Do you think their conversations are as shallow?
You don’t have to be “rich” to live on one income…just like time, know your priorities. But yes there are situations where 2 incomes do help. I stay home and my husband is the sole provider for us. By the grace of God, we eat well, dress well, sleep well and are able to donate once in a while as well. I guess how much we make and what we do with it and the happiness associated with it is all a perspective.
But it is wrong of housewives to think that working moms don’t care for their kids or cannot take care of their kids and family. It’s not about quantity but quality.
Now regarding stay home dads, man I love the idea. If we had some profitable investments, I tell you my husband would quit work in a second and be home. There’s so much to do in life that you can still be productive and unemployed. However, I go to work but hubby stays home…I’m not sure because my husband doesn’t have the temperament to wash potties and run after his kids to finish up their meals. He could get trained though
but he can be a SAH dad after the kids are going to schoo, so no issues with wash potties and finish up meals more than he would do otherwise anyways you know.
I mean there are plenty of stay at home moms whose kids are in school most of the day.
