I have never talked to a stranger in a coffee shop nor ever see anyone starting a conversation with strangers in coffee shops.

in pakistan people just stare each other at public places. Looking what he/she is wearing, holding, driving etc. the envious looks at each other. no smiles no hello hi salam. very awkward.

OP, yes it's possible for people to meet at a random place and instantly connect. I don't think facebook is the same though, because you are not judging someone on their personality but more so for their looks/paper profile. If someone messaged me randomly, I'd hesitate from replying too because it's a bit creepy that some stranger came across your profile somewhere and took the time to message you. There are exceptions to the rule, but I don't "normally" add anyone I haven't met in person.

Maybe the guy you're trying to talk to is a private person...maybe he is not active on facebook and hasn't seen your message (although you can verify this from the "read" status that fb has started showing now for messages...or maybe he just didn't find you attractive enough (judging by your looks/paper profile) to talk to?

Let it go. You don't know him well enough. Who knows how he is in person. Qismat main ho tu paths cross ho jaate hain. Na ho tu jitna marzi koshish kar lo, kuch nahi hota.

in Pakistan, weddings are the best meeting place. in army circle, its mostly officer mess, dine in and dine out parties.

yeah thats right agar kismet mein ho to ..... but i have seen some pppl finding their other halves online too i mean where they dont even see each other then how can they judge em on their looks ..... in the end i think its all about kismet as you said no matter how much one tries.

If you have pics of yourself in your profile, then he MIGHT have seen them and did not find you attractive. And if you really like him so much…why play these teenage games where you post something on his wall and hope that he’ll respond. Just send him private message and ask him out.

Besides, do you know for a FACT that he’s 100% single (ie. he doesn’t have a GF already)? :hmmm:

I just have random pic uploaded as my profile pic. there is no pic of mine on my profile which he can see. he dint even add me as a freind when i sent him the request :frowning: . i am not writing on his wall at all that would be kinda public, obviously i am pm’ing him. lol i don’t know if he is single or not but he defo is not married lol …

Just b/c he's not married....that doesn't mean he's available. He could be engaged....he could have a GF....heck he may even have a girl in his life who he's currently pursuing. Before we became officially engaged.....both my husband and I had "single" in our profiles even though we were dating for over 2 years. LOL....since you don't even have a pic of yourself......for all he knows...you could be someone who he would find very unattractive and he doesn't want to take that chance!

Don't be shocked if the guy doesn't respond in situations like this. Not a big deal.

^then how strangers can meet? if he doesnt talk how cum on this earth will i get to know that if he is available or not.mein kha tu nahi jaaoogi lol. how about just becoming friends first. first he has to see me to find me unattractive, pehle dekh tu le. i m not just saying to start investing emotions & feelings n all, what i am just trying to do right now is to start a nice n decent convo , thats it !! even we are in the same city we can meet up or whatever ....

I have not seen this catfish show ( your fav. i think :stuck_out_tongue: ) though heard about it. Yeah probably he has naice chast hair as i can see them from few of her pics where his shirt buttons are open :wub:
