OP, yes it’s possible for people to meet at a random place and instantly connect. I don’t think facebook is the same though, because you are not judging someone on their personality but more so for their looks/paper profile. If someone messaged me randomly, I’d hesitate from replying too because it’s a bit creepy that some stranger came across your profile somewhere and took the time to message you. There are exceptions to the rule, but I don’t “normally” add anyone I haven’t met in person.
Maybe the guy you’re trying to talk to is a private person…maybe he is not active on facebook and hasn’t seen your message (although you can verify this from the “read” status that fb has started showing now for messages…or maybe he just didn’t find you attractive enough (judging by your looks/paper profile) to talk to?
Let it go. You don’t know him well enough. Who knows how he is in person. Qismat main ho tu paths cross ho jaate hain. Na ho tu jitna marzi koshish kar lo, kuch nahi hota.
yeah thats right agar kismet mein ho to … but i have seen some pppl finding their other halves online too i mean where they dont even see each other then how can they judge em on their looks … in the end i think its all about kismet as you said no matter how much one tries.
