Pashtuns shout about Islam more than anyone else (not saying it’s a bad thing) so does that make them confused? (not my view).
I believe in unity amongst the Muslim Ummah along the lines of the European Union, I want the whole Muslim Ummah to be united like that, but for now I want Pakistan to be a federation of Punjab, Pashtunkhwa, Kashmir, Urduistan (Karachi), Sindhudesh, Baluchistan… I want the Ummah to be a modern federation (not an archaic jahil one built on hatred of other peoples) that doesn’t cut itself off from the rest of the world but has friendly and cordial relations with the Non-Muslim nations of the world too.
Muslims are one because Allah and His Prophet 
said so, anyone who disagrees with that is disagreeing with Allah and His Prophet … I think if we united together we could fulfill an Islamic injunction and also work togther to root out the problems that face us as a Ummah such as terrorism.
Most Mosque leaders in my town are Pashtuns, Pashtuns are usally the most passionate about the Ummah.
The only Pashtuns who are not religious are those Dari speaking ones from Kabul (the type who rim Indian butt), who only have Pashtun surnames and nothing else, they are actually Parsiban claiming to be Pashtun, probably like yourself and Marwati.
