Pakistanis are in every corner of the world for education, but are there any Pakistanis studying in India? India has lots of great and good universities. Are Pakistani students allowed in india to study? Are there any at IIT?
Re: Do Pakistanis go to India to study at university level?
The visa requirements for Pakistani students were only relaxed sometime in 2005, and India said that it would allow students on a case-by-case basis.
Recently, I saw a segment on TV which had a girl from Pakistan studying at one of the IIM campuses. There was some mention about her being on a scholarship which was a surprise as well.
That being said, I don't think it's a common place phenomenon by any means.

Well, when I was an Engineering student in Delhi, we had some folks from countries such as Iran, Botswana, Nigeria, Bangladesh (the ones I can recall)and also a few Palestinians on the campus .
Surprisingly, there were number of students from Iran - they were really rich guys - who drove around in personal cars, had fridge and TV in their Hostel Rooms !!
But none from Pakistan !!
Talking of Pakistanis, the interesting thing is that Zia-ul-Haq studied in Delhi's St Stephens College, which, during his time, was located in the same campus as my engineering college.
