Belledonne / mehwish / huriya - worst experience. Just my luck that I place a large order for the first time in my life and I was royally screwed by her.

I was extremely patient for 5 months but then she dissappeared with my money off to Sharjah.

After much lies, deception and absolute disregard I managed to find out 2 dresses were stolen and the dresses that were made were not worth the hefty price tag.

Dealing with her sister was awful, her sister is so crass that I was to point of just cutting my losses.

Only when I threatened to file a police report did they pay back ( not all) the money.

I was frustrated beyond belief.

Who would swear on.thier unborn child and then just vanish?

Ordered from HQ designs (facebook) 2 heavy formals, although material they used was good, but it was different than picture like at some place embroidery was only cloth print :/ and apart from giving them detailed sizing, they sew them in wrong size!

When I complained and wanted her to correct my sizes she blocked me from her facebook page.

I still cant wear them - LOST of money! I am a small size and she sew less than XS size!

This is Henna and I have just come across your post. What name did you order under? As I don't recall any such complaint? And if there was such a major issue, we always rectify it, or send replacements. As far as 'printed material' is concerned, we have very clear descriptions in our catalogue, so that clients know exactly what they are ordering. However, if you have been stuck with outfits too small, and your complaints are valid, please email us on [email protected]. We can either arrange to have the outfits returned and refunded, or altered/replaced. I look forward to hearing from you soon, please do mention the name you placed your order under :)

Also, we always make the same exact outfit you see in the pictures, as those are of our own samples. Where material is limited in stock and/or is susceptible to change, it has been mentioned. But you would never be sent a print in place of embroidery, unless it was part of the original design.

Not jumping to conclusions but I think this calls for Biariz to respond. HQ Designs has made a reasonable comment.

Although a start-up myself, I personally don't feel that customers are always right and online businesses should be given a fair trial.

Aoa friends i saw many posts who are talking about scam people thats very true i m living in pak but come across so many dodgers who easy can dodg people for we have to be very carefull i m runing my boutique n on facebook too but you can see my satisfied customers msgs on board n its all from my ALLAH i m not taking too much profit u will find me with half of price on replicas n very less then others on orginal as well i will pray for people who are scamers Allah give them good way...

My suggesion is dont send high amount on 1st time just order ur dreses in parts n by less amount so u can see the good result.

I recently ordered from a lady whose information I had gotten when she had an exhibition at my friends house last year.

Out of 30 suits on exhibition I bought 10 of them so I was fairly confident that she knew my taste and sizing.

Well, I ordered about 1500 USD worth of suits this June from her and the package came in the mail 1 day before eid and NOTHING fit. Between my mom and I, we ordered 12 suits and not a single one fit. The measurements provided were accurate however, the lady still accused me of giving me the wrong measurements.

The sizing was so off that each suit was only 14-15 inches for shoulders. I'm 5'9 and an xl so there is no way that could fit me.

In the end, I had to drop off the box at the friend's house (honestly dont know how the suits will get back to PK) because she refused to pay for stitching fees to fix the suits.

Luckily, I had only given a deposit of 500 and my friend also gave me the deposit back.

After that horrible experience, it is safe to say that 1. I will only order suits from Ayesha from Kapray Shapray as she also did my wedding suits so I trust her and 2. I will be ordering lawn suits online from sanaullah, gul ahmed, sana safinaz and khaadi.....

I've ordered from Gul Ahmed and they are prompt and professional.

I just placed an order from Sanaullah and I was super impressed by their professionalism and the fact that I placed my order Wednesday and Thursday they'd already provided tracking info.

Khaadi and Sana Safinaz websites are on my list to try next.

I'll post pics of what i get once I receive my shipment on monday from sanaullah on the lawn 2014 thread.

I have not logged onto GUPSHUP for a long time because I got slightly frustrated with my experiences with so called designers in Pakistan. I logged on today to just browse and I saw this post regarding HQ designs and I thought I would share my experience.

Before I start, I must state that the embroidery and material used is first class and of top quality, its just in the execution of the order where it went wrong.

It is true HQ does not reply to messages when they have made a mistake. I asked to HQ to make an outfit for me, after much discussion I placed the actual order on 27th september 2013 and received them in January 2014. I was frustrated by the long delivery process because it was not supposed to take that long.

So anyway we had ordered 3 suits in the same design for my sister, my niece and myself, the outfits, here are my complaints:

  1. The outfits did not arrive till after the event we needed it for.

  2. Also I had requested the owner to make the sleeves out of silk not chiffon but she ignored me and made the sleeves out of chiffon with lining.

  3. The sleeves on my suit were the wrong measurements. They had been stitched to my niece's size, she is a UK size 8 and I am a size 12.

4.My niece ordered her outfit in an ivory colour and you can see the tailor's chalk marks on it, very unprofessional

Without even trying on the outfit I messaged HQ to tell her the mistake in the sleeves but she did not reply so I just did not add that the sleeves were also the wrong measurements. I just thought great I have been conned what can I do... hope this helps. All experiences are not the same with a design company but this was my experience.

Long story short the outfit is now sitting in my cupboard because I don't know how to make the sleeves bigger because I do not have enough seam allowance.

In this regards I would say its better to shop with who you know delivers good work all the time and that is Ayesha from Kapray Shapray. All my experiences have been positive with her. To the point that she leaves enough seam allowance in the outfits to allow for any measurement errors.

I really need to know if this lady is genuine or fake, as I have ordered 7 kurti’s from this lady, have done the advance payment i.e., 50% of the actual amount.

I had done the payment on 30th Dec and was expecting the work to be finished within 5 days as mentioned by the vendor and delivered within 4-6 days same as mentioned by the vendor. Today is 16th and yet the work is not completed nor the vendor has responded nicely.

I am worried now as I can’t make my customers wait for long. The lady said that she’ll be visiting India to attend some relative’s marriage, I was fine with that and asked her about my order so she replied telling me that her partner takes care of all the orders and also I need not worry because she’ll dispatch the order before she leaves for India.

I asked her partner’s cell number or any contact details, she said she will give it to me but later she forgot or what I have no idea.

I even asked for any alternate number or the number she will be using in India but no comments on that part from her. A Professional Business women need to check all these minor things, I mean c’mon if you’re not going to provide me any contact details then how am I supposed to contact you.

Before the advance payment I found her really genuine & she was responsive but now once in a blue moon I get a reply from her. I’m scared now i mean is she a fraud like others?

And till date no news other than a one liner message I got (in her words) - " Ap k dress ship hogaye hain", “Address plz send kar dein” (The biggest issue between us is communication problem, I am not able to understand what she writes in English/Urdu. But, even that’s fine if gives me a prompt response)

I have sent my address and also told her to send me the pictures of the dress which are ready to be shipped. But no response from the lady.

And I am worried now that because of this lady I might lose my potential customers and also would get a negative feedback on the service I am providing.

And just because of this one supplier I am kind of reluctant to order from other suppliers.

This was the start of my business in Hyderabad, India. But now I guess I need to shut my business even before it has started.

If anyone can help me out please do it. I don’t know what I should be doing now.

Yes I received the shipment two days back. But I tell you, it was better if i hadn’t received it. :mad:
Any one can say the fabric that has been used is of poor quality. The work that has been done is nice. But the material is so bad that I myself also would never consider wearing it. It can be used as a cloth to clean the floors.

I’m so upset and angry on that lady. My customers would throw the kurti’s on my face if I tell them its Malai Lawn. :frowning:
Either ways I already lost my customers as it has been more than a month. No one would wait for a single kurti for a month. :mad:Now I am just trying to sell those kurti’s atleast on the rate which I have bought in. But I doubt anyone would buy it.

I don’t know who is buying from that women. 10K likes, seriously?
I am again in search for new suppliers now. I really hope I find someone who is professional in their work.
Damn I’m so angry I thought of giving this women a second chance if the kurti’s turn out nice. I even had 8 orders ready. :mad:

I'm sorry for not responding, I believe I was travelling at the time and had closed orders, but it is my fault and I apologize. I see that you complained about the shade being burgundy and not a brownish red, whereas burgundy is a brownish red? However you may have had a specific shade of burgundy in mind that varied with mine. You haven't mentioned anything about the size or stitching not being right in your message? However if this is the case, and also since you received incorrect sleeves, I don't want your money to have gone to waste and the outfit to just hang in your wardrobe. Can you either let me know how much it would cost you to have the sleeves fixed there? And I can transfer you the amount. Or if you prefer you can send the outfit back and I will fix any issues you have with it and compensate you for delivery. Please email me on [email protected] and let me know how you would like to proceed. I would never ever try and con anyone, and I am very sorry you have had this experience.

As I said to you in Private , I'm in shock that you have replied ... am very happy Alhamdullah

HQ and I have come to an agreement, by amazing coincidence I am travelling to Lahore for a wedding in a couple of weeks and the kameez will be posted to HQ from Lahore to Karachi by a relative and she will make the necessary adjustments and send it back to me when I arrive in Lahore.

Inshallah will keep you all informed and be able to show you all a pic of me wearing HQ's outfit in Lahore.

Must say again, my faith has been restored :)
