i haven’t been to pakistan for a really long time. do men still wear a sehra *
i personally hate the way it looks.

i think is was worn back in the old days when the bride and groom hadn’t ever seen each other until their wedding day. same goes for the mirror thingy. on the wedding day the put a mirror infront of the couple, and gasp! they finally get to see what they married.

..these days…haha, that ain’t happenin’..

Maybe that's why the bride is laughing so much :D .poor guy:) i feel so bad for him. He has to wear that most of the wedding probably.

yup muslim wedding, but ya i think you're right, just talked to my khala who lives in pakistan and she said that very few grooms wear it.

Oh man call me paindu but i soooo want my dulha to be decked out in pagree and sherwani and that floral garland :love: he can save hte suit and matching tie for the valima and every other damn function we’ll be attending later..

Not too many people wear it. My uncle wore it in his wedding back in 80's but I haven't seen any other family member wearing this since. I don't like it personally.

How come the dulha is wearing a sehra, but the bride's face is uncovered? I thought both were supposed to be 'covered'??
