i will never divorce my wife if my child is not marrying according to my wish.....

i dont think that is parents right to ask their children to marry him or her

if thats what Allah wished there was no need for saying "kubul hai kubul hai"

in old times women n men were free to marry which ever muslim they wanted........i.e.islamic rules

Also, it's not a Brit thing only! I've heard about it happening in Pakistan to a few people and also to a couple of my bengali friends.

It's just taking advantage of children/wive's weaknesses and fears and yes, the whole stupid mentality of the stigma of divorce.
