Actually it might not necessiry if the person was in some other profession, but since he is in medical/health care profession it is important to weed out these type of person as soon as possible.
By reporting him your not only doing favour to yourself and colleagues, but also helping to protect all future patients who might be vulnerable and easy pray for this kind of people.

You are not responsible for his behaviour. You are the victim here.
How would you feel if he did this to another person that was unable to report him for whatever reason?
What if during his career he abused someone? A young person? A child?
Are you willing to live with the knowledge that you could have done something about a predator?

inspi: I will suggest you to report your incident and if possible write the name of all witnesses of incident. HR will take care rest of the matter.

What possible unintentional signal might she have given that would make him think talking about his genitals would be appropriate?? Be serious! And clearly he knows it is inappropriate because he whispered it in her ear, rather than announced it for all and sundry.
The guy is scum, and if you imagine he hasn’t been scum to others in the past or won’t be in future or won’t be to his clients, you are being willfully stupid.

I was standing outside a meeting room waiting to go in, and a guy in my group who I have minimal intereaction with because I SEVERLY dislike him and make it known, came right up behind me ( i was reading a notice on the wall) and whispered my name in my ear and said ' i want to get my **** out right now '
And i was like WTFFFFFFFFF for 5 mins and then I shouted get lost really loudly ( every one looked at me ) and then the meeting started and I had to go in...
The student co-ordinator asked me if I was ok, If i report this guy his career ( as a physiotherapist) willl go down the drain.
Calm down, maybe you were his involuntary test subject.

sorry I havent read everyones response.
I emailed the undergraduate student co-ordinator last night, whilst on here.
I got a response in the morning just thanking me and saying he would come and find me later to discuss the issue further.
The physio was not there in the afternoon so I assume some sort of action was taken.
At the end of the day the undergraduate co ordinator called me into his office and said although he is completely professional at work with his patients he has crossed professional boundries with colleagues before, some of the student midwives and other med students especially in more social contexts, our co ordinator is pretty young himself and he said on a night out he was really harassing one of the midwifery students beyond limits.
he has been temporarily suspended from the course and the issue has been handed over to the university.

I'm glad some action has been taken. I am surprised that they seem to know about his offences but allow him to continue.

well it was all social, he didnt bring any of to work with his bosses/patients
Its a very grey area i think thats why.
On the night out apparently he wsa just like all over her and a bit drunk ( he is white i think someone asked if he was desi) and wouldnt let go of her and kept trying to kiss her at the club/bar.
Similar things happened out at dinners etc.
However because I guess he did this in our education building during working hours they took it more seriously?

I would have been really upset if you had not report it. Cos who know what would he do next.
