You lay in your bed struggling to go to sleep, but your mind keeps regurgitating the good, the bad, the ugly, the contentious and the witty stuff you read or wrote all day on GS and other social media and mull over the stuff you wanted to say but forgot.

Is it taking up too much of your mental/physical time and energy ?

Do you want to keep checking the latest posts and messages every 5 minutes like schizophrenics ?

Is it having adverse effect on your work and school ?

How does this effect students in particular ? How the heck do you keep your focus when your mind is so scattered with all kinds of overload of information – mostly of mundane nature ?

How’s your experience ?

What do you do to counter this menace or you just go along, like a zombie at all times ?

evry time i sit to work on assignment i will open GS or facebook ..and then you know it better:(

Exactly.

Has anybody tried to measure the loss of productivity ? It has to be huge.
Beside the ill-effects on mental and physical health of individuals.

I spend hours on fb and twitter everyday. Mostly i feel it’s a faff, but still i can’t quit.

You might want to use some of those runs on yourself (may help with the mindal problem if there is one).
