Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
how do you like it when people raise voice against religion? all of a sudden, thats considered very intolerant and very insensitive, yet its perfectly okay to bash homosexuality? strange double standards here.
Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
sexual orientation and being gay is not a lifestyle, neither a choice. living a homosexual lifestyle just like living a heterosexual lifestyle is a choice. both heterosexual and homosexuals CAN choose to remain celibate. many religious heterosexuals also choose to never have sex if they cannot get married or if they take an oath of celibacy, and many homosexuals who are religious also choose not to act on their natural desire. one cannot choose their sexual orientation, but they can choose if they want to act upon it or suppress it
Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
prince Bhai.. when you discuss on such topics, please don’t give emotional statements. Just a little advice. As this may create confusion and an opportunity to twist what the true message of our religion is.
You just need to say its a sin as per our scripture and when a certain act is sin, we can’t approve its mass recognition in our society. This is enough for those who can / want to understand.
On the topic and to conclude my statements, gays are entitled to certain rights (include preach to rectify themselves), but they are definitely not entitled that their act is recognised by masses by giving them spouse status, because I see as an encouragement of sin.
Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
The first sentence is your opinion. Some have countered that with facts which you have refused to even research. And that is fine. Each of us is entitled to our views. And to either choose to review empirical evidence presented or to ignore it in favor of our preconceived notions.
Re the last sentence. You haven’t answered the question I posed. You had specially stated using hand to stop it. Twice. Then you followed up with machine gun. In the latest post, you appear to have softened your position. By stating “raise your voice against” it.
So what is your position? Advocating violence to stop it? Or simply raising voice?
Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
Look who are talking of double standards. One who consider use of ‘Homo’ derogatory for homesexual and keep on appreciating the other who called Islam sexist religion and Allah cruel openly. bravo. what an audacity.
Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
Why do you have an issue being judged when you’re judging? How weird! LOL. You shouldn’t even flinch when being judged - if you can dish it out you should be able to take it. So hypocritical…lol. Ab kya huwa? Bura laga ke koi kudge karraha hai? Aap jaise logon ke liye kaunsi nayi baat hai? Apne liye doosra Islam auron ke liye doosra Islam. Purani bimari hai kuch “practicing” Muslims ki.
This is what I mean - pata nahin kya practice karrahe hein…
For those who think there are no gays and they should all die - why don’t you “practice” Islam? Agar itni himmat hai to dar kis baat ka hai?
Jao…Islam asal mein “practice” karo.
Lekin aisa nahin hoga…kyun ke “practice” yaheen khatam hojati hai. Jab kuch practice nahin karna hai to kis baat ke davay?
Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
Not sure where u r going with this. Use of the word is derogatory.
Now, Prince has advocated violence against homosexuals in 3 posts. Maybe it is just me. I would have imagined that would have met with your disapproval?
Re ur comments abt bella and religion she can respond if she chooses to. Her analogy in this thread was spot on. Your post is an example. You take offense even when accurate statements re specific aspects of a religion of ur choice r brought up. But don’t offer same courtesy to others.
I would politely request that u denounce the violence against gays that was proposed. Thank you.
Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
is this all you can bring for defending sinners?
Don’t you know sodomy is a sin and encouraging its mass recognition of a sin is also a sin. If that is not what you believe then afsos sad afsos for just carying title of Muslim., and not being submissive to the orders of your Lord. Orders that are clear cult and mentioning of Qom e Lut is just not fulfilling empty spaces in Quran. How do you see that mentioning in Quran. If it was just between God and sinners, why did Allah revealed it to Muslims after so many centuries? khuda to Sattar hai, aib chhupane wala? nahin?
Main jo practice karta hoon, its none of your business madam. But what you advocating, for that I wish you need to go through proper sources of the religion. Your sources seems limited only to western concepts of ‘tolerance’, ;freedom of expression, etc, as if Islam’s own teaching and concepts are barren from tolerance and kindness. Your version of Islam teaches you to niglo ankho dekhi makhi in the name of kindness, to Allah rehm farmae aap per.
aap bhi jao, practice karo apna ye peculiar version of Islam which is alien to us.
Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
Same can be said for you. you appreciate those who say such offensive things about homosexuals, yet criticize those who voice their opinion on religion (especially after YOU specifically ask them why they left your religion LOL) bravo!
Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
You were ready to bounce a sixer and your hatred against Islam. That will come to you whenever you bring religion in your posts.
BTW, same applies here. If I asked you for leaving Islam, then Prince was also asked here to bring hadees where there is condemnation of the act. so, why do you feel offensive now, when someone came up with such references. double standard? hypocrisy? is it?
Re: Do gays deserve the same rights and access to benefits as the straights?
its not violent.
its one thing if you call it a sin because it is indeed a sin in your religion but to falsely accuse of so many horrible things is very dishonest and wrong.
Not a single scientific reason has ever been provided in support of gayism/homosexuality in the history of mankind! Merely hypothesis and verbal debate.
A lot has been discussed in above two threads. Homosexuality supporters could not prove any of their position on homosexuality to be right.
Religion was not even discussed in those threads to counter homosexuality.
OP of this thread,.. on post # 361 of first thread above, merely placed a (.) when Indian laws against homosexuality was mentioned in post# 360 and disappeared from the thread…along with others.
