Perhaps animals are in a perfect state of submission. Go animals...teach us humans a thing or two...
Agreed with you...animals submit to God by following their instincts.
Animals have instincts, memory, methods to comvey information to each other but they cannot think because they lack the base for thinking that is language.
Animals cannot think and fantasize....... hence, they have no religion, no God etc.
Perhaps nature is their religion and their God...
No, praying cannot take place without thinking process. When someone says that he is meditating on God without words.....he is already giving direction to his mind what to do and this 'direction process' itself is based on thinking.
I think true meditation or prayers are when you even transcend the thinking process and go towards your completly natural state...perhaps your instincts.
