In Lahori’s case, such a request might be made if the offspring that he and Basanti produce…looks more like the local doodh wala…than Lahori himself. (Never mind the possibility of recessive genes…or that the the child actually resembles some distant grandparent/uncle/aunt on either side of the family). All hell will break loose, because that might mean that Basanti wasn’t as khaalis as the Ganga River before the knot was tied.
