Maya Ali has ruined this drama for me because of her pathetic acting. Stopped watching it after 11th episode.

Arjumand is such an annoying character. What right does she have to say anything to ruhi anyways? How is ruhi the cause of all her heartaches as she laments to wali? Unless she's still pissed over the fact that behroz ditched her for Ruhi. Which makes her one sexually frustrated old hag.
And what's her beef with faara? If anything she should sympathize with faara who was married against her will to wali because arjumands beloved dead husband wanted it. Faara hasn't even kicked up half the storm that arjumand herself did when she was forcefully married to sohaib. Cursing him and her unborn child incessantly. Aunty ji needs a trip down memory lane!
And if faara and ruhi have uraofied agha jaans money, let's not forget that arjumand has been free loading off of agha jaan since the day she was born( I presume some 40 odd years). faara/Ruhi only started doing so just 4 years ago. That should give you some perspective!
And lastly agha jaan is not so dood mein dhoola hooa. Ruhi wanted to be part of the family but he berated and mocked her family and questioned the shareefness of her family. Oh yeah and then he kicked them out of his home and told them to never return. Her hatred and mistrust is not unfounded. It's amazing how everyone is so conveniently black and white and how ruhis family is suddenly the cause of every conceivable problems. Her nephew is suddenly darth vador ka baap with his evilness which is completely unrealistic and shows a lazy approach towards moving a story forward.
All in all this drama is now an utter disappointment
I actually love the drama. It's excellent.. shot so well, the emotions feel realistic. The story feels real. Thoroughly loving it. Maya Ali is fkn annoying, but everyone else was stellar. Abid Ali .. legend, proves time and again why he's so loved.
As for the storyline.. Agha Jaan repeatedly tries to win over his bahu and apologize for his stupidity. He berated her once, as an angry parent... that's highly understandable. She did it repeatedly on occasions where he was bereaving his dead sons and trying to make amends with her. It kind of is black and white.
I do find the Moiz storyline a bit weird.. there was a definite shift toward Faarah after her father died and her grandfather came in the picture. But such a drastic change is weird.

+100000x. I so agree with everything you said. Why did they have to throw the nephew under the bus just for a lame happy ending? And Agha Jaan acting all holy is really pissing me off. Just cuz you have grey hair doesn't absolve you from the mess you have created. Ditto for Arjumand, why is she acting so high and mighty? She seems to be angry that Ruhi stole her man. Most hussaim hussain dramas are so boring....dastaan, kuch pyar ka pagalpan, akbari asghari and now this dayer-e-dil.

Tried to watch the last episode but stopped right after the "gajar ka halwa" BS.
The seconde part of the drama (after Suhaib death) has been a huge disappointement. So many incoherent turns in characters and events, such a waste.
Really wanted to give these not so new kids a chance but Maya Ali and Osman Khalid need serious work on their acting skills.
Won't remember much of all this apart from the OST and Baltistan landscape.

Or maybe it was a Kheer scene. Basically our good for nothing miss faara made something ( halwa/ kheer?? Something crappy most likely)for wali which he refused to eat. She went over crying to agha jaan and I wanted to slap her senseless. That was the end of my relationship with DED. I could imagine how irritating the remaining episode would be
