Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

Counter question to the mullah supporters: When muslim pilgrims are killed in Mecca during Hajj are they too being punished for their crimes? Thousands died in 1992 or 94 because of stampede in a tunnel. Or, when amerikees bombed the hell out of Afghanistan or Iraq was that not also Gods way of sending a message to the believers they have transgressed? Most importantly, ask the mullah supporters how did they get this direct connection with Allah that they know what Allah is thinking and planning? Are they not acting like Gods on earth deciding who lives and who dies?

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

^ dying in hajj and natural disasters mean the same to u???
human bombings and natural disasters mean the same to u???

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

what a joke

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

that’s the point.. the majority of the areas are rigid followers of what they consider Islam.

And if one has a heart of stone as to not melt at the thought of thousands innocent little kids suffering under the rubble.. when pulled alive having to live their entire life without parents..and one would still insist on considering it God’s punishment of evil doers.. then there it is… the religion as practiced by these people wasn’t accepted by God.. He condemned them as evil and brought His wrath on them.

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

^ yep, cud be cuz of the widespread 'grave worship' there....
u never know....

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

each human's life is invaluable. whether it be thru an earthquake, a car accident, a disease or a tsunami....
death is a reality that will consume all, a fact of life, something we all have to live with...knowing that each is going to die.
if god controls each and every thing in this world, then each person dying is a form of punishment? and a never-ending life is a form of reward? but no ...nobody thinks this way right? then why is it that when people die in LARGE numbers others are quick to point it is a punishment??
a person dies,,,,,,u can attach any meaning to his death....u can say "god calls the good people early in their lives" or that "god punished him for his sins---accha hua" or "god calls good people up early so that they dont ever get a chance to commit sins and gives the evil ones a long life so that they may get a chance to do some good in their life"
attach whatever meaning.
death is inevitable and it is just death that all will face, earlier or late. and its really no use to be judgemental.......
or maybe there is....mullah sahab ko zyada patta ho gaa i guess :)

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

but there are many many places worse than ‘grave worshipping’ (using your own example), prostitution, homos etc. even in Pakistan very close to the earthquake but those areas survived.

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

those Who are sinners in Your eyes MIGHT NOT be The Sinners in Allah’s Eyes and viceversa…you are no-one to say **A **is sinner should be punished and B should be spared because he/she is innocent
besides… Allah Never said HE will take away sinners first and the rest later or watever

very interesting
do u believe all those who passed away during Hajj can’t be criminals OR won’t be punished for their crimes??
no doubt, Hajii will be spared totally ONLY if the Hajj is performed with True Intentions and Resources… otherwise i Don’t believe Allah will spare them just for being in Mecca

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

Maybe the Jinns were the target of gods wrath and the humans were in the wrong spot at the wrong time?

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

I would’ve laughed at this joke under normal circumstances.

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

Why does it have to be a joke?

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

cuz jinns are not "physical" entity so they don't need "physical" punishment.

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

What about children and pious Muslims that got buried under the rubble, did they need physical punishment?

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

Jinns cannot be effected by physical means?

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

^^ ask the jinns....

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

I didn’t mean to say that it was punishment to begin with.

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

I think smokeless fire can be delt with via phyiscal elements.
(Good for BBQ too :yummy: )

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

But others, especially the resident fatwa issuer, indicate it was.

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

They are considered to be of ‘gaseous/fire’ nature, so they don’t need ‘earthquake, building collapse’ sort of punishment.

Re: Disturbing - Conversation with a Mullah

yes others are suggesting, but I for one don’t agree with them.
