My brother was engaged for a year, with him sitting in London and his fiance in Pak.

They kept in touch almost every day, via email, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, SMS messages and telephone calls.

My brother booked out entire sections of every day to be time that they could spend talking, and did that for a year, apart from exceptional circumstances like business trips & holidays.

Distance is no boundary, as long as both people are commited enough to the relationship to make the effort to keep communication open.

good for ur brother .. wel its proper rare to see it now a dayz .. specialy the civilized western world we are in … but yea some ppl still manage to keep their easter significance alive n so did ur bro … but some dude like me .. chances are slim to be none to be that loyal to anyone lol

but i don agree with ur piece of litrature presented .. i think DISTANCE can create a pretty clear space in ones relationship n do make a deeep impact on any relation. i just feel it now when i talk to my old skool frinz .. its like i wana talk abt everythin to em … but they dont understand my situation .. they need to step in the same shoe innit ?
