You guys are all so funny. I guess everyone loves a bit of Paki Tv huh ? I admit, I am an addict myself. The only problem is that I don't have dish right now. I am waiting to move out of my apartment first then get dish.
In the meantime, I would love it if any of you guys who already have it could maybe update me with whats good and exciting on ARY digital and Geo. Maybe some ppl who have ARY digital could post some tv shots ? I love those !

i just called dish and the free preview for geo will end on march 31st now and for ARY channels it will end on april 7th
whada hell? we don't got no ARY One, just ARY Digital. Whats going on. adn there is no package deal with Prime?

you can blame prime for this. they're being stubborn and don't want to lose their profit from Dish. Instead of getting $14.99 per user, they'd get $9.99 per user (actually less cuz i'm sure they pay dish) so they're going to lose a lot of subscriber. if they had lowered, i would have subscribed but i just can't justify paying that much for a channel i rarely watch anyways.
I think the only component of this SuperPak that is not available in your area would be ARY One. Its not even available in my area as well, but I am getting Prime, Geo and ARY Digital. And if ARY One is a 24 hours news channel anyway, I do wonder why would people get BOTH Geo and ARY One. I mean, how much news can Pakistan generate to fill air waves 24 hours a day on TWO channels.
I, therefore, stick by my decision to have Prime, Geo and ARY Digital. Combined cost $40/mo.

well I really don't know why anyone would want Prime aside from sentimental (emphasis on mental) reasons...their shows are extremely old and unimpressive but it's your money your choice...

OK first off, there are no Pakistnai package being offered for any channel. I just called. Prime is 14.99, Geo is 14.99 and ARY is 14.99 and the total is 44.99 for three channels..which are being offered individuallly.
I just subscribed to GEO and they are even bigger chors than prime. The girl, minnie, charged me 12.99 for this month (which only has like 4 days left) and 14.99 for the next month and the total of like 28 bucks for GEO will appear on my bill next month. I wanted to say to her that i’ll call back on the 31st and subscribe then but the chick sounded so nice that didn’t feel like actin cheap infronta her. Man talk about bending over and getting screwed.

Gohan ji, if I was in your place, I would probably ask them to pro-rate the whole thing, that way, you would end up paying for days you actually got to see and enjoy your programs.

^oh bahi urdu line pay hi call kya tha. That was the one which got me screwed. They have no knowledge of any package whatsoever. U know y don't u pick up the phone and call the number and confirm if such is the case or not.
