What’s the difference between Ary One and Ary Digital? What is this superdish? 
I didn't have a chane to turn my TV on b4 leaving for work this morning. Is GEO still on or has its free preview mode expired? It was on until 11:00 PM (EST) last night. Also, how long do you guys think ARY DI will be on for free.

ARY one has been on since yesterday. Didn't check on Geo this morn. I heard ARY one was a news channel and ARY Digital is the one with good programs. Can anyone confirm?
P.s. They showed a detailed interview with Shatrugan sinha oh prime yesterday. Didn't sound as bad/prejudiced as I thought he would be.
ARY digital i guess has all the dramas n stuff and probably one has all the informative shows n things like tht

FF, I caught part of that as my mama and daddy were watching it. It was pretty good! I missed most of it though so I didn't quite catch why Prime was showing an interview with him.

For the masses, ARY Digital would be more appealing so don't worry you are not missing out with ARY One. Though ARY One has excellent analytical shows and interviews with politicians as well as few sports celebrities.

what did you expect? he was interviewing on a Pakistani channel. he was always going to behave himself. I found it amusing how full he was of himself.
One more interesting thing was how all these actors (I've heard of others doing the same) turn to our dramas for good acting, story etc etc. Did you hear him go on and on about Tanhaayian and Ankahi (he had them mixed up)? And yet we ignore our own artsists for a much lower level entertainment.
I called to subscribe to Geo and was under the impression that I could add it for only $9.99 but the guy told me that this was false advertising. So I canceled Prime. Now I will definitely add Ary Digital. Bye bye Prime, not nice knowing ya.
No Samby I only watched the part where he was telling about how he loves Islamabad and karachi and lahore and how many times he has visited Pakistan… He did sound a little full of himself. For some reason I had always imagined him to be the Gujrat Massacre supporting type 
I hope he wasn;t just putting on an act. I heard on one of his visits to Pakistan in the 80’s he stayed at Zia ul Haqs house! ANd if he is visiting oru country that much I’m sure it’s not just for a show’s sake. Sounded genuine to me but then again I am not the best judge of character.

HB, why are you :( over no Prime?. You like watching it?. Be honest now.
Hmmm.... so for me, it will be $40 just for three channels. I ain't getting a SuperDISH (though the name looks impressive :)) to get another News Channel (ARY One). No one is really keen on 24 hour Pak news, so even Geo is a hard sell in my home. On the other hand, Prime has some good stuff for kids to learn Qiraat and stuff. The only time I get to watch television, they have Ghauri (World Today) and the guy is usually watchable. Don't know about other programs all that much.
I think I will keep Prime, Geo and ARY Digital.
The choices for Pakistani/Indian viewers are incredible. There are over 10 variety channels to chose from.
My next channels on the radar screen would be STAR, TEN Sports and ESPN (Asia). We really need a 24/7 sports channel.
Oh, there is like 4 more South Indian channels on Super Dish too? Another new Teleju channel began yesterday too.
Rumour has it that STAR, Doordarshan World, and another Indian channel will be coming soon. (Maybe on SuperDish)
