Buy DVB-S Hardware mode card that will have a processor on the card and would not need a fast processor on the computer. But those cards are costly.
Yeah the remote works with ProgDVB too but there few configurations to make it work using the numbers and I am still trying to figure that out, otherwise channel up and down button works fine.

Same using elecard.
In MT you have to chose the elecard filter for display. Right click on MT and chose setting than general settings. From the next window click on the AutoGraph tab and make sure both check boxes are checked AND video decoder is set to Elecard in the first drop down and under Audeo decoder make sure Elecard is selected in the first drop down as well.
After those settings right click agaion on MT and under Display —> Video on/off is selected as well.

BIG NEWS GUYS ...
Reportedly, a new card is coming out on the 14th, called a syndrome card that'll make it possible to use the existing IRDs (receivers) to watch DishNetwork. The car will be kinds like an atmega card, but willl have to be connected to the TSOP.
Prices right now, seem to be around 150$..

I have 3 questions please can some1 answer them
1) There is a lnb out port behind my twinhan dtv 1020a what si that?
2) I currently have 1400 mhz and 128mb sd ram, 20 gig and my channels dont play smooth with lots of freezing every 3 second, I also connected my 3200 mhz amd 512 ddr ram 160 gig and the channels were not very smooth, maybe cuz I was not using it as a dedicated reciever
3) how the hell do u get diseq to work

alright guys, i am giving up on this PCI dvb card!!! essentially the problem i am running it to is not strange for many.. but i can't seem to find a fix... what is happening is that, i get the other transponders (for paktv, b4u, etc.) when i disconnect the cable and replug it.. geo is one channel that is coming constantly and doesn't go down.. but others come for 5 minutes and then again i have to reset the wire.. its almost like its getting hit? are any of you encountering this? i am using a visionplus 1022a. thanks!

exactly the same problem it just started ahppenin
I cant even buy another card cuz I only had a 3 day trial period which is over now, and the reason I bought dvb pci was cuz I could not afford anything else, I know 1022a is not the best and has a lot of issues but this just started happenin and geo stays constant and all the other channels get the signal and suddenly the signal and quality for other channels goes down to 0

khiska-hoowa: yea for me it was ok last week, but this weekend.. it really started screwing up.. i was looking it up.. and apparently, i think the card is heating up.. i am not sure yet.. i was searching happysat if you find anything do let me know.. and vice-versa

sure yeah I dunno for sure at the moment btw r ur channels smooth, like I dunno bout my pc I got 384mb ram and 1400mhz pc and the video lags, but is the best at elecard graph , but I get a smaller scrren as well as dual screen

i am using progdvb, mtheatre didn't really work for me.. and yea geo is fine for me.. i have 2.8 celeron with 512mb ram.. for the other channels to work, i just take the wire out and plug it back in.. i am going to try to put a fan beside the card when i get home and see if that helps.. apparently.. the card heats up ...

alright my observations by putting the fan on the card... it seems to work now... lol.. well i left my pc shut down for an hour or so.. after that i turned it on with the fan beside it and ran it the whole night, in the morning it was still working... not sooo sure if its the heat problem.. but so far it appears to be running... fingers crossed

perfect man thanx, yeah I took my fan too and laid it down, first I unplugged the wire and put it back and signla and quality went up by 40% and then the fan did some amazing work

by the way what graphy gives u the smoothest result, I have both myth and prog and for prog I have elecard videoand audio and for myth I have elecard graph, its the smoothest out of eberything else but still I can c micro freezes

so I am using dvb dream and a strange thing happened, when I go on some channel there is no vid or aud and then when I press record the channel records with vid and aud, so in live display where is the display

For somereason i am not getting any of the pakistani channels and some indian.
Is there anyone who can share info on this, I am using DP 121,119,110 on SKYSTAR 2.
