I have the Fortec Ultra.
I am receiving all the channels on 61.5 except GEO TV. Which is giving me a error message saying "Scrambled or Bad Channel". I don't understand, because the other channels on Geo's transponder work perfectly.
Infact all the channels on Dish do, including ARY, and Prime TV.

hey, Mr. Gupshup, well the 14 indian and 4 paki you are getting is including the SuperDish right... thats a pain to setup as its needs the KU dish... and essentially i dont think anything is worthy on the superdish.. unless u can specify something.. hopefully indus doesn't come on superdish (121).. anyway in terms of the dish solution... i am hearing that the Card Hack is out.. only bhagwan krishna knows how reliable that news is.. but if any of u haven't bougth the fta receiver.. wait a week or two.. u might just get hooked up with the current dish net receiver..

here are the solutions guys....
PC.... Fortec Ultra's are not getting GEO TV for now, i'm waiting for the new sfotware to come out that will ddescramble geo tv.
other thing you can also do is rescan for satelites or increase your signal level as close as to 100%!!
nomaan... all the desi channels are still on 61.5!
Sadiyah... the ones i recommend and infact work really good are either Fortec or Pansat or Coolsat.. anything by these brands are safe, others i can't speak off!

I'm having major problems with 61.5 and 119 with the diseq switch.
I can pick up the 61.5 satellite when plugged into the switch, but not the 119 when plugged in at the same time too.
Same with vice versa.. 119 works when 61.5 is not in.
I've gone to Antenna Settings and changed the #'s accordingly, but still no work. The cable is fine.
Any ideas?

the international channels are not showing up in MtTheater.

I can see them fine. One quick tip is that by default MyTheater is set to European SAT and you have to first change it to Echostar 3.
Right click on anywhere in the blank or video window, and chose LNB/DiSEqC settings & scan, select the Sat from the left window (Echostar 3 for 61.5), change the LOF1&2 = 11250000 and SW=0, than click on DiSEqC and chose LNB1 hit apply. Than in the right window click on select all and hit scan, sit back and let it scan and it should pick up all the channels.

No they are all on 61.5, I am even getting a local channel from one of the state that runs the programming in Hindi. I think the channel number is something like 8256 not sure the exact number will look it up next time.

Make sure the switch is working.

The wire connected on switch (1, 2, 3, 4) should be programmed accordingly on the IRD.

Make sure your you have selected the right switch in the IRD eg if its 2 port or 4 port.

I know how to setup the lnbs and all that. I'm connected to 110/119 right now. Only 61.5 channels are not showing up.
I think my problem is the weak ~35%-50% signal. we had strong winds last week, and i think everything good moved a bit. I'll align it again.
Can you tell me how many transponders show up for echostar 3. I only have 22 in my list. Is that right? In lyngsat, they show transponders upto 30sih, with some pak channels on transponder 29.

hey if you don't mind, can you please post the settings for the Echostar 3/7/6,8 lof1/SW/lof2 for ProgDVB and MTheatre, do you use DVBDream?
Btw, ARY One is on 61.5 hmmm what channel??? one last thing, I don't know if you encounter this but in ProgDVB PPV video lags, I mean, the audio is fine, but video is in slow motion, it appears as it lacks memory, but it works fine in DVBDream... do you have any idea? Oh and one more thing... what version of MyTheatre are you using? what program would you rate best for this sort of application? Shukran ya Sheikh!

figured out what was wrong. THE DISH WASN"T POINTING at 61.5.
when desi tv went down over the summer, i repointed the dish outside to get BEV.
oh well. back to aiming the mofo. that should be fun

i still cannot get the FTA to catch GEOTV and Aljazera....i am gettin everything on 61.5 which lights up in yellow color (meaning i can watch it) ..it does show geo and aljazera but when i click on it...BAD SIGNAL or SCRAMBLED... my signal strenght is about 87% and quality is bout 99%
wtf is going on here? whats causing the problem?
Also...what kinda programing is offered on 110?

I used ProgDVB the first time when I tested now I use MyTheater because I can use the remote with MyTheater. ARY on 61.5 is pointing at channel 621. Yeah the video lag on ProgDVB but I don’t use it much as I said I use MyTheater since I can use remote with it. Apart from that it depends what prog you really like to use they all work the same just the interface is different. Haven’t used DVBDream too lazy to try that since MyTheater works great and I am using the latest version. 3.30
Here are the settings…
For 61.5, select Echostar 3; LOF1&2 = 11250, SW = 0
For 110, select Echostar 5, 8; LOF1&2 = 11250, SW = 0
For 119, select Echostar 7; LOF1&2 = 11250, SW = 0
For 121, select Echostar 9; LOF1&2 = 10750, SW = 0
For 105, select AMC2; LOF1&2 = 10750, SW = 0
For 148, select Echostar 1, 2; LOF1&2 = 11250, SW = 0
