Disabilities in the kids

Are some disabilities in the kids caused by the way the intercourse was done? if it is true then is there a guide for the don’ts of intercourse?

Re: Disabilities in the kids

They say a lot of them are caused by marrying cousins if you marry outside of your bradari or even race the babies will be healthier. Both parents should eat healthy and exercise.

Inlaws and husband shouldn’t be abusive towards the pregnant mother as stress damages the fetus. Happy mommy, happy baby.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

If cousin marriages or inbreeding is done frequently in a family…then it increases the risk of children with abnormalities. This does not mean that if one marries their cousin that they will 100% have a child that is abnormal. The percentage of abnormality in cousin marriages is only slightly higher than non-cousin couples. There was a time when cousin marriages took place in the West, but then over time it became a taboo. There isn’t any prohibition in the Bible about cousin marriages. It turns out that the Bible contains examples of cousin marriages. So, Alhumdolillah, Islam has made such marriages permissible whereas in other cultures it comes with stigma. But such marriages are not the rule and should not be treated as such.

Reducing stress levels, avoiding alcohol/smoking/etc, eating a healthy diet…all these things play a role in the health of the child and there are medical precautions that one take as well.

In regards to the thread’s question, I don’t think that something like that would lead to children with abnormalities. But there are certain things that Allah has prohibited such as anal sex and that should be adhered to. I do feel that we attract problems in our life when we go against Allah’s commands. Also, it’s said that before intimate relations, one should recite dua and you can find that dua online. I think (not 100% sure) the dua does contain something about the well-being of any child that should result from the intercourse…but you can look it up yourself to confirm.

First cousin marriages in Pakistani communities leading to ‘appalling’ disabilities among children - Telegraph

First cousin marriages in Pakistani communities leading to ‘appalling’ disabilities among childrenBaroness Flather, a cross-bench peer, says it is ‘absolutely appalling’ that first cousin marriages in Pakistani communities are leading to ‘so much disability among children’

Also if both have same family history of disease then bad news

Re: Disabilities in the kids

No, what the heck?

Re: Disabilities in the kids

Make sure both of you facing the ka’aba while doing it :rotfl:. I guess do wuzu before and after.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

This is one of the weirdest things I’ve heard in a while.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

What is this?

:bummer:

Is there a strong hadith that proves the above? The first part at least. Please share.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

No idea. This was my feeble attempt at humor.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

Not too thrilled about society’s obsession with having boys. Maluvi sahab should be saying, “Jo hona hoga ho jaye ga”.

The madni boys are hilarious in general though.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

:emmy: Not something that should be joked about. Esp. the Kaaba part.
And these videos are really bad. There are tons of other scholars out there that have actually studied the deen and cite from credible sources and are not dumb like this dude. Like NAK, Abdul Nasir Jangda, Abdul Rahman Murphy, Alaa Elsayed, etc. They’re actually good and engaging.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

That’s a weird theory. The only position that super religious people engage in is the missionary position, so if you wanna keep it kosher then that’s all you can do.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

No biggie. I’m not actually in Pakistan so I’m safe from the blasphemy laws over there, I think. But thanks for your concern.

Are any of them as hilarious as this guy? He might be dumber than the regular molvi but he has a ton of followers. His flavor of Islam does have street cred back in Pakistan.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

I don’t think that’s an Islamic thing. Islam is cool with whatever as long as you don’t go up the poop chute. Don’t scare be scaring people for no reason bro.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

The more you know, now i got something to look forward to.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

What? I’m not really sure of what the scene back in Pakistan is regarding this stuff

Umm, they’re not hilarious but they make is easy for the youth/ young adults in the west to understand about various Islamic concepts as they talk about relevant topics and make sure the content is relatable. You should look them up maybe you’ll find something you like

Re: Disabilities in the kids

I’d refrain from joking about religion back home because it can get you in some serious trouble.

Here’s an article from Dawn (a Pakistani English Language newspaper) The untold story of Pakistan’s blasphemy law - DAWN.COM.

Here’s a link to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority website where you can complain about blasphemous content.

The concept of “free speech” is alien to Pakistan.

A Pakistani student was recently killed for allegedly posting blasphemous content online.

Re: Disabilities in the kids

I haven’t really lived in Pakistan at all so not so sure about this stuff nor do I follow Pakistani news.

I only looked over the last article briefly. Its unfortunate what happened to that guy. It should have never happened.

There is no compulsion in religion. Truth is clear from falsehood” (2:256)
And say, The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills let him believe, and whoever wills let him disbelieve“(Quran 18: 29).

The prophet (SAW) never humiliated others for their lack of faith but invited them to Islam with humility and respect.

Worship God and associate nothing with Him, and treat with excellence your parents, and relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the further neighbor, the companion at your side, the traveler, and the slaves” (4:36).

We’re taught to treat everyone, Muslim and non-muslim alike with excellence. I don’t know what type of Islam some people follow, doesn’t make it right even if they are doing it under the guise of religion.

No compulsion in religion you say.

**If a Muslim apostatizes and meets the conditions of apostasy – i.e., he is of sound mind, an adult and does that of his own free will – then his blood may be shed with impunity. **
