How true all of that is, I’m not really sure. But sounds logical. It’d be nice if GoP could just come out and give public the core facts and truth, and take the public in confidence over the essential matters. It would greatly serve to reduce public frustration and make people want to strive to avoid IMF and be self-sufficient in the future.

The government can’t do that. They can’t admit they’ve borrowed more money and added more to the public debt than any other government in the history of Pakistan.
