Wow , sounds good , Masi … yes thats a good idea to have an organza lining for daytime use

Now all i gotta do is save some money for a trip to pakistan

Hey CB - My family has never been a fan of plastic on our tables because we feel like it takes away from the khubsurati of the actual dining table. My mom placed a thick piece of glass on top of our dining table. This protects the wood and looks more expensive. It is realllyyyyy easy to clean and is so heavy that it will never move. It is a good investment. We place the table mats and runner on top of the glass when we use them They are not protected I know but they are also easier to replace and wash as opposed to the actual wood of the table.

I’v already told my fiance that we will also do this …get a glass cover for the dining table to protect it. He was like um… whatever??? lol. hehe.

That looks lovely, I was planning similar for a large coffee table. But is it glass or mirrored glass?

Masi , Organza I believe isnt really heavy material is it? the Curtain I need on the windows must be heavy material so that it can stop the cold from the doors … so how does it work , base material can be some heavy stuff and top one can be organza ? … I am actually gonna get the curtains inshallah from Pakistan too … Just exploring the possibilities at the moment

Yea that is the only downfall The table runners and mats and such are not protected. But my mom’s opinion was that the dining table set itself was so expensive and so beautiful … that it was more important to protect the wood and keep it looking gorgeous. We tried the plastic thing as well but it really took away from how nice the table looked :no: So my mom decided to go with glass top so she could properly enjoy the table and figured that things like table runners and place mats are easier to clean and replace (if it comes to that). Especially now a days when there are such amazing spot removal and stain removing things available in the market

It is glass. We had someone come and take the proper measurements for it and then had it custom made.
