have you ever noticed that the heart has a great significance in our lives

starting from religion . it is said *aur tum dil say iqrar ker lou *

bioligically it pumps blood to all parts of the body and if it stops for a nick of a second everything would fade :hayaa:

emtionally everything is somewat linked to this organ .. like feelings etc. :cu2:

according to sufism ishq ka raasta dil say hey

as iqbal said

sitaroon say agay imtehaan aur bhi hain
abhi ishq kay imtehaan aur bhi hain

when a child is born the first organ made of the child is the heart

Surah YASEEN is called Quran Paak ka dil

so where does the mind stand :smiley:

its not dil vs dimagh .. a person cant live without both.. human body is made perfectly balanced.. each part in the body is responsible for some function.. yes without pumping of blood (heart) body wouldnt be able to live..

but u know what docs do to a person that has no electric impulses in his/her's brain? declare dead :-)

yup.. when heart stops beating .. organs start to 'die' after less than 2 minutes.. but u can always try an electrical-shock approach..

brain .. really doesnt have an approach :-) once it has stopped receiving air.. it starts 'dying' and within 2 minutes it can be dead..

see after shock, heart may start pumping blood again and body slowly recover.. but if brain already achieved 'coma' then chances of recovery from that are mighty slim..
