in majority of cases, the MILs die way before the DIL. and in other cases, the DIL eventually moves out…after some years.
Now that doesn’t stop them from having problems and all that jazz… look around Life1 and see the anti-MIL threads.. You will get an idea.
Actually it has nothing to do with the life span of MIL, or the period of stay with the MIL. Its some sort of genetics at work here.
