Which is better?

I need a new Camera budget is about £500, can’t decide which to get

I just want a camera which takes good pictures…

It would be Digital-SLR. 500pounds is way more then enough to buy a half decent camera.

My fiance got me a digital camera for my bday and it is sony t-300 its the best camera ive ever seen and used. it takes excellent pix and easy to carry around anywhere you go so. Pix are so clear and the camera itself has countless features.

D-SLR is for professionals, i am assuming you need a small non-techie camera for taking good shots, which can also be fit in the pocket. Here are some of mine fav:

Yes, came out last month. Sony Digital Cameras are always excellent, beautiful pictures, easy handling. Good for regular users, but Sony sucks at D-SLR. Need 20-30 more years to compete with Canon !

wow #2 has wireless internet..

The Canon Powershot looks good and has 14 mega pix

im not gonna be using it professionally but I need it to take good pics, so im not fussed

DSLRs are for semi professional to professional use. If u just want to click and take a good picture, go for point and shoot digital cameras..if you want to play around with possibilities..buy a DSLR. product manuals and internet are available to sort out any prob....buy a good brand like nikon or canon really...canon has the best lens speed..means it focuses quickly ..u cant miss a shot..nikon is almost equally good
