I read most of ur comments in the other thread and found it very helpful. The thing is im gonna use it through-out my wedding and when I go to pakistan in a few months so do u think its the right choice carrying this big camera around? at the end of the day I want good pictures...
ok jessops is doing this really good sale thingy..they are offering nikon D80 with a pretty good lense of about i guess 120 mm for half the price,,like in total it is a good package..read it at jessops...canon is expensive and you wont get that much a zoom ...its heavier..( though heavy cameras are good..but at ur level..buy the nikon D 80
well i did hehe. Well there is a bag that comes with it and you could ask any male member of your family to carry it for you. it is not that big if the standard 18-55 mm lens is fitted into the camera instead of other ones. :) i carry it around all the time with me without the bag, it comes with a neck strap so i just carry the camera around using that. although if u do get it then get a UV lens filter. it filters out light and prevents overexposure and it is also used in protection of the lense. :) yeah D60 but i recently got the D90 which is over here 5999 dirhams = 1198 pounds and that is way over your budget. So yeah get D60. the advantage of D90 is however that it records video too.
i do professional wedding photography with this baby and it rocks..really..D 80..
i have D90:) and i have done photoshoots for Dolce&Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and recently i am doing it for One TV Dubai and American University in Dubai.
i jsut got the nikon d80 last weekend!! early v-day gift from the hubby. omg it takes the most amazing pics!!!
i can see rays from a light in the pics! the pics are so crisp and sharp. im only a beginner, i love photography, i have absolutely no clue about what im doing though. im clueless about all the options/buttons on the camera so im pretty sure ill end up messing up the cam soon. but im trying to read the manual and trying to learn about photography online.
