I wanna buy a digital Camera. My budget is US$200. Which one will be best. I’m looking:
Touch screen
Video recording
High pix for still photos.
Plz advice.

Honestly don't think there are touch screen cameras for that much. Atleast I don't know of any good cameras with touch screen for $200. Maybe someone else has better knowledge. I will look around though.

Don’t know how good it is though, but I believe cameras of that price range pretty much deliver same quality.

Touch screen is not worth it. I will tell you, just get Canon Ixus 220HS. I am using it and it is the best ever. Amazing resolution, Full HD 1080p video recording and more. Totally worth the price. Got it for 800 AED, which is exactly $200.

Oh wow so there are touch screen cameras under $200. I guess I was looking at sony and canon cameras.

There was a Sony also, but lower in rez.
But like Dubaiwali said, touchscreen may not be a necessary feature. However it depends on everyone's personal choice.

As for touch screen, it seriously doesn't make that much of a difference. At the end of the day, primary function of the camera is to 'take' photos.

Yeah I need one for my upcoming trip to the home country. I could use my S3 camera but I have to be careful, someone might wanna steal my baby child

Trust me, I've used Samsung, Panasonic, Nikon, Sony and Canon point and shoots. Canon is best amongst all of them.
The specs of both the cameras look great. I would go for a canon camera anyday.

Careful with your phone in the home country. I don’t know about India but phone thieves are common in Pakistan.

Yeah. I think I'll use my sister's S2 with a local SIM as she's upgrading to an S3 also, and keep mine safe in the suitcase. Very scary thought.
