Can people with cameras tell me the advantages of buying something separate? I sometimes want to however with my phone don’t see the need but some of them are indeed so nice.

I guess it is psychological. Yes, there are some cameras in phones which take nice photos, but at the end of the day, no one does what a fully functional DSLR can do. I think yes, point and shoots can be overlooked for phone cameras, but not DSLRs.

I think even point and shoot cameras can and do give better results. Most cell phone cameras don't go above 4-5 megapixels. Also don't have optical zoom so you are restricted to to take pictures up close only. There are different settings you can take pictures on with even a point and shoot compared to cell phone camera eg night, portrait etc.

Yes, but I had Nokia Lumia in mind. 18 megapixel. Someone can argue that well, I have that phone, why I need a point and shoot or a DSLR. It takes moderately good photographs, comparable to quality obtained from some point and shoots, but not even a Lumia can do or a S3 can do, what a DSLR can. You are right about the fixed focal length by the way. :)

Just fyi, the S3 camera is 8 megapixels, one of the best cameras on a smartphone, and it has several settings including HDR.
But yes, the fancy DSLRs will always be more professional.

What I observed that if the Megapixel in any Camera is higher and resolution is low or its vice-versa, theere is always difference in prices i.e., 50% more or less compairing to one with another. Than Full HD and lots of other things let me in confusion and i’m unable to decide which one shall I buy

So you are telling Shak to get an S3 right? I agree he should ditch his BB and get an S3. 
Post the specs of three choices and then lets see if anyone can help. Also stick to a price point so its easier to choose because you will always find a better camera as the price goes up (even if your budget is high).

That is what i'm thinking right now. I'll post the specs of three choices and definately will ask you all for help. From last two months I visit these shops and at the end buy nothing :D

The professional cam Nikon and Canon no dobut are best but when we talk about digital cams, sony, samsung are considered top of all others.

Well at the end of the day I can't persuade you to get a Canon. All I can say is, trust me Canon is still the best in point and shoots. Coming from a person who has bought and tried 'many'.
