Different Styles for Mehndi

What do you prefer?

Anarkali
Angharka
Sharara
Gharara
Shalwar Kamiz

Or anything else?

Re: Different Styles for Mehndi

Own mehndi- I would have preferred a churidar or sharara. But I wore a shalwar kameez.

For another's mehndi, I would like to wear Anarkali or gharara.

Re: Different Styles for Mehndi

Gharara or an Anarkali.

i only know wats gharara...

plz help me out also

Re: Different Styles for Mehndi

anarkali or angharka with a chooridar, looks very traditionally regal and stylish at the same time, done right of course.

Re: Different Styles for Mehndi

I think I want to try Lachaa...but not a paindoo one a nice one.

Great minds think alike.

Re: Different Styles for Mehndi

Both Sharara and Gharara are two legged but a sharara is A lined sort somewhat fitted on top and flaired at bottom whereas a Gharara has a joint above the knee and has gathers at the joint as well-usually a typical traditional Gharara has 16 Kaliyan/panels above the joint (8 on each side) and a 3.5 yards flair (7 yards total) for each leg. Hope that makes sense :)

Re: Different Styles for Mehndi

I like simpler look on mehndi-a simple shalwar or churidar with a simpler qameez and a heavy colourful dupatta with nice borders and gota work maybe, and floral jewellery over the paranda and NO MAKE UP at all except for maybe a lipgloss.that's it :)

Anarkalis
Show me which ones you like.

That’s something I’d love to do for a mayun, classic simple look. For mehndi, it should be something vibrant and colorful, masti wala.
Gota work is so amazing, kia yaad dila diya.. you might have to make one for me  Sounds funny that after like 100 emails with you this morning, this sounds so perfect!
