ive seen this alot, uni male friends to brothers, to my uncles who are all british pakistan, born here…they dont lift a finger to help their female counterparts, sit on their backside all day, think theyve done the world a favour by just waking up in the mornings, expect all cooking and slavery to be done by their wives…if the phone rings, even if they are sitting next to it, will ask someone else to get it, can u get me a glass of water…and they are in the kitchen, while me/their wives/anyone else isnt even in the room.
and do they look after their own kids..? like hell…nappies need changing, call their mum, my couins wife was round mine, and he was with his 2 yr old son, he called her on her mobile and asked her to come home to change his nappy, and he was hingry, he couldnt make his own food…my cousins dont even take their kids school, even if they at home, its all a womans job, at parties all kids are stuck to their mothers,…
now paksitani men, from pakistan, inc my own husband are different..is it the country?MY HUSBAND changes nappies, feeds her, plyas with her, wants to be with her, he also make his own breakfast if i cant, he wont wake me up if im not well, or tired, or aslp, he does shopping too…and has even cooked here and there…ive seen this with my aunts hubby and my bro in law..both pakistani…
Re: difference between pakistani men and british paki men
In Pakistan a man must live by his wits and by his skills.
I have yet to meet a woman who can cook better than myself and my wife wont let me cook but lately i've had to cook for her and as for all the other chores I bet I could give a good account of myself.
Guys in the Uk are not all that soft though as Reha said it depends on the upbringing. back home the women had work in fields and men had work in the army or out in the fields too... so the kids just learned to look after themselves and took those skills with them into adulthood.
Not all lads are lucky to have thier mothers with them all the time. For those like me we are blessed but sometimes in the darkest hours we were lone wolves, and we thrived.
Re: difference between pakistani men and british paki men
Those guys from Pakistan mostly had to live alone or with male room mates so they learned to live independently or learned to do help out. The guys who were raised in UK by their families got spoiled.
Re: difference between pakistani men and british paki men
You can't judge people by their nationalities, from where they are born or by their MBA degrees. There is no guarantee or any answer book for it.
A very well educated man can behave like a "jaahil gawaar insaan" with no respect for others and opposite. Same goes with manners.
As Reha mentioned, it's all about the family and their values.
Re: difference between pakistani men and british paki men
defffooooo true.
my cousins all wanted to marry little village girls back home, and have really paindu thinking, even fashion wise, they dont let their girls wear anything too tight, while back home…wow have they changed…not 1950`s anymore.
Re: difference between pakistani men and british paki men
sorry but the men in your family seem like losers!
Your husband does all this and you STILL have the nerve to make fun of him?!?!
what do u mean ALL THIS? SO HE LOOKS AFTER HIS OWN CHILD....WOW...give the guy a medal...
this is what i mean, us women have done this to them. i went to the docs for the lil ones immunisation last week and he came with me, and guess what, the nurse, praised him to the skies just for coming to his own daughters immunisation, she was all cooey and like oohhh ur such a good father....he nearly got a round of applause, i was waiting for the standing ovation.
do us mothers get this praise..no...cos its OUR DUTY...not the fathers apparently....
MY cousins hubby is also the same, he takes his girl to nursery daily, and guess what....all the mothers in the playground fall at his feet, he gets a pat on the back....amazing...
p.s i know i sound uptight.....im not. really. heres a smile..:]

more young mothers than young fathers are stay at home parents, so for doc appointments it is the responsibility of the person who has taken the responsibility to raise the kid, for the other person to take time off from work takes effort, its as simple as that.

Man if he is getting a round of applause every where then he must be doing something good. I think he deserves a round of applause for taking care of a kid thats not his i.e. you.
