DIETING for ur shaadi!

I dont know about you girls, but I am soooo annoyed with dieting! I got engaged about 10 days ago and I started my diet today. I have an engagement party on May 21st, and Im pretty much in starvation mode!

I know most brides are in the zone when it comes to watching what you eat/excercise… SOOO any tips, diet plans, or excercise regiments that worked for u?

Feel free to share what diet youre on currently, or plan to be on!

im getting married next month, and i told myself that i would diet since my engagement last year...yeah didn't happen!! theres so many parties, plus so stressed out, i didn't gain any weight but didn't lose any either...its okay i guess...don't pressure yourself, you're still you....just enjoy your wedding!

Before going to pk (for my wedding) I lost some weight by eating chana's and drinking a lots of water....within a few days I lost about 4/5 kg.......But believe me i had a lots of pain in my tummy and I lost the shine of my face...yeah just in a few days...
So stopped dieting..when I was in PK...I lost some weight....

Do a lots of exercise.....walk a lot...drink a lots of water...u'll loose weight...
I think it's more important to have a nice shining face instead of a pale colour of your face coz of dieting....

Hey, My wedding is inshAllah 6 months away and I've just started to diet now...it is kinda annoying to be on diets especially when ur a Junk food Junkie like me:( I couldn't let go of chips and etc..I'm not overweight or anything like that but it's good to maintain and keep fit all the time not just for ur Wedding but as a daily routine before and after. It's important to have a healthy lifestyle...You'll have more energy to get more done everyday.

Anyways, I have been on the Atkins (NO CARBS AND NO SUGAR) type of diet for 2 1/2 weeks and it seems to be working--so far I lost 7lbs Alhumdulilah..I wasn't much of an eater before though but it's just that I used to eat rice /whole wheat bread and drink diet pepsi..MAKE SURE YOU DRINK LOTS OF WATER--I'm going to be honest... I can't even drink plain Poland Spring water so i mix it with Mega-T green tea or LIPton green tea packets...Eat Salad and Fruits(oranges,strawberries, and apples) Also, if you want flat abs, work out every other day for even 30 mins if you can (combo crunches, bicycle crunch, and lift some weights to tone arms)...Hope this helps--Good Luck:)

P.S. don't forget to reward yourself every time you loose 5 lbs ( I sure did :) but it has to be a like a small piece of chocolate(1/4th or a spoon of dessert)...don't have too much or else you'll gain the 5lbs back...we sure don't want that..lol

eat healthy and do the above work out and ull get ur desire results.....they are fun and the music makes u move .....n ull sweat like anything ......i have given u three of them ....dont do the same everyday ....chose from any three..... :)

Lol, I was just going to make a topic about getting fit for the wedding! :p

Well im getting married in Sept and altho everyone says I dont need to lose any weight, I still wana tone up :)

So due to the weather being nice iv started evening walks with my friend and used the cross trainer twice..

I started these fitness classes which is a good laugh wen ur with a friend.. the ones u should try are boxercise, sculpt n shape or hi/low aerobics. Very beneficial and good for clearing your head out ;)

OR.. cos im lazy and cant be bothered driving anywher.. u know on sky they have these fitness channels.. some interesting work outs on there, give them a try!

Green TEA!!! LOTS AND LOTS OF IT!!! I drink about 6 cups a day while im at work. It helps keep your hyderated and curbs your appetite. Prior to drinking it, I would start to get hungry for lunch around 10, now I can wait untill 1pm or even 2pm. Also drinking it after your meals helps digest your food.

Other than that... keep this quote in mind "Never give up what you want most for what you want now". Keep your eyes on the prize lol.

Curvy girls would really recommend belly dancing. I used to do it religiously every week at a dance studio my hips/tummy were SO TONED but then I met my fiancee and just became fat and comfortable :(
