Does not make sense. if US wanted to keep it a secret, it would keep it a secret from all. What would be the advantage of sharing it with India?

They must have been informed, its unlikely that americans could do a sting operation in India's backyard without their approval.

I was desparately waiting for a thread about India's involvement in all of this. phew
Not only was India supplying the masala dosas, but also the peanut and coconut chutney, sambhar and the Dabur oil for his maalish, the kareiley ka juice for his blood sugar and oh yeah, Bollywood extras for the entertainment of his bodyguards.

Well no body knows. we have no news report to confirm that.
but there may be a slight chance. Like Americans told Pakistanis not to confuse the operation with Indian attack when it all happened. they may have told Indians or hinted to Indians in case Pakistan counter attacked India thinking that India attacked Attababad.
I am just making wild gusses . nothing to back it up.
