Did anyone have a hard time

Re: Did anyone have a hard time

Well its ok dear, of course we can allways blame it on the baby :)

ps. I do have some stress and that stress is work/studies and a very active girl that allways wants somethings to be done, (her own way) so like her own dad. :)

I went to a midwife to get some tests done (taht Mamaof3 mentions) which she did and told me that i was not ovulating at all. I had been charting and thought that i was. BUt then i was like, she is the expert here. And lo and behold, the cycle she did my tests and said, nah, you cant get pregnant, i ended up concieving the same cycle.

I dont get it Ira, do you mean someone could be having a regular period and yet still not be ovulating?

Re: Did anyone have a hard time

I had never thought I would have trouble concieving - everyone (my mom, khalas, cousins) were so fertitle but that was not the case.

It took me two years to conceive my first baby. I would suggest these tests ASAp so you know what the issues is

  1. Tube test - make sure fallion tubes are okay
  2. Ovulation test - to know IF you are and WHEN you are ovulating in your cycle
  3. Sperm Test - making sure that there is enough count

I never thought making a baby would be this technical but boy was wrong.

Re: Did anyone have a hard time

well i can understand other medical conditions hindering the second child.
one other basic that happened to me and may be many more will agree, dont you guys have less sexual activity if you have one child already? it has effected us along with other things. if the basic activity is less to none then conceiving part is secondary i guess. we tend to emphasise on second parts.

Well yeah I know what you mean, but thats when the ovulation strips are handy, u know your fertile days! I know many factors play a major role in getting pregnant, but the factor of not having sex because of lesser sexual activity on your fertile days should be avoided.
