I like dholkis bc it is a great opportunity for poondi.

It probably has something to do with the indian tradition of 'sangeet'. And yes I do enjoy attending them as do a majority of other girls and boys especially.

Maji, Dholki is this wedding ceremony done a few days before Nikah (Baaraat). Usually girls sit around a dholak (tabla, duff, drum) and sing tappay (songs). They also dance.
