In Indian Punjab, there are two additional shops with every dhaba
One is desi daaru kee dukan and another angrezi sharab ki dukaan :)

google said its for candies n sweets…boofiya is for quick snacks… like a canteen jo office/schools etc mai hoti hain…its quite similar to a canteen.

Yes because sardars drink beer and whisky with food like water with food in other part of country :) Drinking in not considered bad in Sikh culture generally though it is banned by religion :D

the one who wrote it also never drank, the poem was more to promote more human thoughtfulness than glorifying drinking intending to say that sharabkhor are actually more sensible than holier people
