Desperation on the cusp of madness

Pentagon Caught Red Handed in an attempt to Frame Iran: Iran Does Not Manufacture 81MM Mortar Shells

According to a report offered by the Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies at Tel Aviv University, connected to the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the neocon Brookings Institute, the smallest mortar produced by Iran is the 107mm M-30.

Hmm what was that about fool me once… u can’t get fooled again..

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

USA is not invading Iran as it would need over 1 million troops to occupy Iran which it does not have and Israel does not have the capability to attack Iran as it lacks strategic bombers.

Once Ahmedinijad and Bush leave office you will see a thaw in the relations

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

^^the decision to attack eye-ran has been made. thats obvious if you know the english language etiquette.

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

**Now it becomes clear why Saddam was punished, his crime was failure to conquer eye-ran...............:( **

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

I still dont think USA is attacking Iran.

If Iraq had worked the way Bush and his cohorts thought it would have then Iran and Syria would have been next.

But Iraq is a total failure and thus USA does not want to start a 5th War in that Region.

With Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, and Afghanistan being the other 4

It will

well yes.. the USA doesn't but Israel does.. and the US will have to do what the masters want..

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

There is a big difference in "attacking" Iran and "invading" Iran.

After their big misadventure in Iraq, US is not likely to be in any mood to "invade" any country. You are right. Invasion requires enormous levels of troops, logistics and international relations. On the other hand, there is practically nothing stopping US or Israel to launch unilateral air strikes against targets in Iran. It will be considered an "attack" and it can do substantial damage. Whether it will rid Iran of their nuclear ambitions, remains to be seen.

I think all the noise coming out of Iraq and Pentagon, trying to implicate Iran, is a start to gather public support (in the US and outside) for a possible strategic strike inside Iran. Expect more crap coming out in days to come. Assuming N Korea has actually agreed to US/China proposals, Iran remains the only country that is on US' radar for an imminent attack. Other than the rag tag nations in Africa which US strikes at whim, whenever and wherever she wants.

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

I think that this claim that Iran does not make 81mm mortar shells is another Zionist lie designed to belittle Iran’s defence industry and capability… I don’t trust things that come out of Israeli sources.

The Iranian Defence Industry Organisation’s website claims that Iran makes 81mm High Explosive mortar bombs. Not just that, but whereas the Zionist source says that Iran does not make mortar bombs smaller than 107mm, the Iranian source says they make 60mm bombs too. In fact, 107mm bombs are missing from the list of Iranian-made munitions on the site altogether.
http://www.diomil.ir/en/amig.aspx

The website is slow and failed to load for me the 1st 3 times. Once it loads, expans “Mortar bombs” in the navigation box on the left hand side to see the 81mm mortar bomb listed.

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

Iran's high unemployment, inflation, sanctions, foreign investment going elsewhere, risking military confrontation with the U.S. All 5 points can be dealt with in a positive manner if Irans nuclear weapons ambitions were dropped.

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

i dont think you get it.

the demands by the allies are that iran cannot enrich uranium full stop

even the iranians are ready for long term monitoring of their facilities to prevent weapon production(as all npt members already are).

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

Iran is not a trustworthy country. They support the coming of the Mahdi and could launch a Nuclear attack on Israel and Israel's counter-attack will annhiliate Iran but they believe could usher in the Mahdi.

Iran could also give Nuclear weapons to Hezbollah and Hamas and splinter cells from both those groups could use these weapons to attack Israel

Iran is too dangerous of a country to have Nuclear Weapons

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

Perhapes hiding their nuclear work for years (breaking IAEA agreements), and the promise of 'wiping Israel off the map' lead to such demands? Russia has offered to enrich uranium and send nuclear fuel to Iran and they rejected that.

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

oh dear

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

this all leads to the need to have a nucluer free middle east

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

^^ only way that will happen if Arabs and others do not attack Israel

Israel has no strategic depth and a small population. So If Arabs attack and score a victory over Israeli Forces then there is no place for Israel to fall back to because it has such a small strategic depth.

Egypt and Jordan may have peace ties with Israel but a coup could bring in hardliners who will advocate war with Israel.

This recent war with Hezbollah shows that the IDF is vulnerable.

And Thus Israel needs nuclear weapons to deter invasions and war of conquest and annhiliation

Pakistan needs them to offset the conventional advantage that India has over Pakistan. Even if India had no nukes, Pakistan should have nuclear weapons to offset the conventional advantage that India has over Pakistan.

Pakistan and Israel's nuclear weapons are for defensive purposes.

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

irans future weapons will be for peace. the guarantor of israelli compliance with palestinian demands and quickly!

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

^^ I thought Iran said its not making any weapons :?:

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

Sadr fled to Iran.

Thats not good

more of a case of war with iran by the hawks in the pentagon

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

Great then. We can start by getting Israel to dump all its nuclear warheads that its been hiding for decades and maybe Iran will stop trying to make any.

Re: Desperation on the cusp of madness

well Israelis would be more upto date on Iran than anyone else.. wouldn't they?

how about the claim that Iran doesn't use English markings.. Could it be they are old stock from when the US supplied them some arms?
