I know a half bengali/half white girl who’s a model here in London (western), she has the desirable tanned skintone but also chiselled with the more delicate features that bengalis often have, large eyes, the little button nose and good bone structure (a Frieda Pinto type look but paler)..

i didnt know bengalis came in sizes tall enough for modeling :P, nah the chick i know is well dark, darker than me infact :O, but depends though if you’ve studied genetics, its to do with passing down different hetero/homozygous genotypes

^They might generally be shorter but they often have the more delicate features that are preferred by western model agencies.. In her case she got her english dad’s height.. (A lot of the top agencies in London like Storm will take slightly shorter girls tho if they look absolutely ‘exceptional’ and have an amazing face, tho they do have to still be super super slim)..

Actually, just thought of a couple of exceptions to what I posted earlier.. There are a couple of Indian twin ‘glamour models’ (really they don’t look models at all, they basically get their boobs out and just talk dirty on the phones on one of those late night adult channels lol), their names are Preeti and Priya Young if anyone wants to google them.. they are apparently half-Irish but look full Indian (and are dark even for ‘full’ desis).. Possibly the two most average looking ‘models’ (dunno if u could even really call them that) I have ever seen tho..

It varies but usually white features with a slightly darker than white skintone (like a light tanned skintone and if brown more of a bronzey golden tone than desis).. If mum or dad is blonde tho it’s not uncommon for the kids to have light hair and eyes (still can happen if gora/gori has dark hair/eyes but of course much less common).. My mum is half white and is natural blonde with light eyes, I’ve got slightly darker hair (natural blondish/brown) and light eyes but my skin isn’t as pale as hers whereas my brother is paler than me but with darker hair and brown eyes..

I have a couple of mixed-race desi friends who look** totally** white (one has an english first name and no-one at school ever even guessed she was part desi until she said so herself, her dad was dark sri lankan, mum english blonde and blue-eyed, she wasn’t just pale in the way Katrina Kaif is, her face actually looked european).. Most of the time they tend to have white features with a slightly darker skintone tho..

I have seen alota inter racial marriages. My sister is married a half white/half persian man, been married for about 5 years. My brother ALMOST married a korean american but they broke up.. my bestfriend is married to a white guy and one of my uncle married a white woman 25 years ago and they are still together. i dont think that interracial marriages fall apart more often than desi ones.
