I am only talking about desis living abroad. There is this inherent fear of black people in our community that I notice all the time. This is especially true for the older generation. Why do you think this is so?

i agree..desis are racist aganist everyone..which ironically makes them non-discriminatory..cuz they discriminate equally to all races..

Ok I agree with all of you but they don't look down on goray. They definitely would not approve of their son marrying a black girl but they would be somewhat understanding if he brings home a Chinese, Japanese, or a gori. My inlaws sometimes say such unbelievable racist things that just make me want to smack my head. And they don't think there's anything wrong with it either.

its the physical aspect... color, style, accent and stuff.... mostly the** color **they hate
