I am just answering your initial inquiry about covering the bump. what some khawateen wear and not wear is totally different.Another argument for pro covering can be biological one, as male species are more attracted to fertile female and a pregnant female thus is attracted and desired…hence if a culture does not want random male members desiring random pregnant females then they would like them to cover it up…

btw, never heard anything about males being attracted to pregnant women, fertile or ovulating is different but I don’t think same can be said about a pregnant woman.
