is there anyone else who thinks they are really over-priced this time ? 
I mean around 3000rs (minimum) for an unstitched lawn suit ??? an outfit which will be a LAWN one no matter how I get it stitched and how I design it ! I am SO tempted to get a few prints from the exhibitions but I end up convincing myself (thankfully 
) that they are not worth the price …
So, just to console myself : tell me I am not alone

My sister and I were saying the same thing! I have a feeling it may have to do with the increased availability of lawn prints to overseas clients. Hummay moti asaamee samjha hai :(

i wear lawn a lot at home even in winter months.i find it really comfortable n good lawn suits they last me 2-3 yrs so i was thinking this way that in long run it will last me longer and the price will be justified but for those who wear it just one season its not worth it.

Really expensive. I just look at the designer collections for ideas and inspirations and just get the much much cheaper versions...

yes you are right, they are totally over-priced. last year sobia n's lawn was from Rs 1600/- and this year it is from Rs 2900/- !!

atleast with gul ahmed the quality is good, with good care they can last upto three years
i once had the misfortune of buying sobias lawn
while the prints are really nice, the quality was not any better than the 600-800 rs lawns i own
maybe the quality has gone up since then... i dont know cos i only got somethings from the first collection she had out
another thing the quality of v9 (vinnes) lawn was worse than the 500rs lawn suits
noone should be paying over 250rs for the crap she had out (i am talking abt the 2nd collection)
but then, i also heard tht she was not affiliated with v9 after the 1st collection. only her name was used
my sister had to buy seperate lining for her lawn shirt and STILL it was see through, she had to wear a camisole with it

I don't get the hype associated with lawn at all. I hardly wear lawn in the US. Never! Don't care!
I do agree with you all who say gul ahmed lawn is much better pricewise than the rest... vaneeza lawn my sister got me those and they really weren't much better than the other no name brand ones....
Best thing I do what Sara does .... buy the no name brand ones... get some nice designing done ..wear it one season for dinners and outside...and then next 2/3 seasons I wear at home.....
Just wanna add proto I think the prices in pak are crazy... 7500 Rs for a simple dinner dress sounds crazy to me ...maybe I'm cheap... I don't know but when I convert it to dollars it just seems high.... and the thing that shocks me is relatives in pak...look at me like I am crazy for NOT spending that much on a dress......
what abt lawns like firdous lawn, sapna lawn what prices are you getting those at?
I'd invest in Bareeze instead, not a fan of lawns. They're hard to maintain.. cling to all the wrong parts of your body.. :/

yes its over priced sobia nazir lawn suits starts from 2900 to 3500 which is toooooooooooooooo much for the lawn suit..am waitaing for sana safinaz lawn exhibition may be she sell at low price?dont know but this is too much

proto .. the highlight of my day .. I saw somone in FB selling them stitched for 100 dollars!
prices are going high as demand is high .. u are right not really worth it.
