PS: I do not endorse husbands not grooming themselves. It is necessary to stay groomed, not to please your wife, but because it is sunnat. Safai nisf iman haiy.
by the same standard you shouldnt wish for a well groomed wife. she might get hit on by men on the street, your friends, the doodhwala, postman etc.
longhornCoder, yes, men who stay fit are far more appealing.
Fraudz, it's mainly the lack of effort more than the results.
Captain Lota, those are some feeble excuses for desi husbands to not maintain themselves well. Yes, cleanliness is half the faith; however, don't forget that the husband has to look good/appealing to the wife.
Diva4u & Sahar, the two of you should really consider yourselves blessed. :p
What irks me is that most desi husbands make no effort, yet want their wives to be dolled up for them. Not to mention I'm sure they check out other women as well.
its all in the mentality.. i remember when my mamu was gettin married… to a very pretty girl… my mamu was a “chain” paan eater tobacco and all… dressed in the most pathetic of clothing, etc etc… so 3 months before marriage he had his teeth polished, went off eating paan or chewing tobacco… started to wear insaano kay kapray.. so by the time he got married.. it was a totally diff man… he’s still maintaining it… but u know what ive noticed… most wives dont care what their hubby’s look like.. as long as they themselves are lookin tip top… im sure if wives went after their hubbies… there would be SOME change in their appearances too…
sorta like a mommy going after her brat to get him into his sunday bests… everyday!!
thankfully my brothers and daddy have a good enuff dress sense and are into grooming… every friday before jumma is grooming hour
BUT desi women should voice their feelings about what they want from their husbands..khud hi meesni billiyan bani rehti hain tou..hoonh..husbands should talk nicely to their wives, they must SMELL GOOD...they should talk to their wives about little things...(like wife my life, what do you think of this thing,, or what are your views about that thing)....
hmm i am so glad to hear that... atleast all that hardwork will not go down the drain..will love to have girls staring at me :) ..best thing tat could happen to me..
hey guys what do u think about ladies getting Fat after the marriage... it happens to most of the girls .. specially to those girls from punjab...they all looklike abida parveen...
yeh kia app nay apni mejazi khuda ka naksha khencha hay ...:D itni detail to itna gor kernay say hi pata chalti hay or gor to sirf patti dev par hi hota hay :D
About 5 years ago, one of my friends went back to home to get married to her mamu's son. MashaAllah she was a beautiful girl and had just finished a degree in Accounting. She got married and returned to UK, six months later he joined her here. My friends and I were dying to see our jiju so she arranged a meeting with him at a resteraunt. When he arrived we were all soooo shocked - there was my friend looking her usual elegant self and on her arm was a skinny "boy", dressed in TIGHT jeans and a vibrant hawaii shirt! He had a Leo Dicaprio in Titanic style haircut and sported a moustache...
Not wanting to hurt her feelings, none of us said anything and decided to not judge the book by its cover. The meal arrived and he ate loudly, slurped his drink and even belched...we tried making conversation but he would just murmer back!! I have to give credit to my friend though, she playfully teased him punjabi about being shy around so many girls and didn't once look uncomfortable! Me and my friends were soooo puzzled at their match, but it was arranged when they were kids and she didnt have much choice in the matter...
We didn't seem him around much after that, she said he was working and studying...Anyway about 18 months later, at an engagement party, my friend walked in with what seemed like a TOTALLY different man! The moustache had gone, the hair had gone, and so had the hawaii shirt - he'd put on weight and had been working out, his hair was cutely spiked up and he was dressed in a sleek navy blue suit.....if ever there was a real life Cinderella transformation THIS WAS IT!!!!!!! I swear none of us could believe it was the same guy, it was like that movie She's All That lol! NOt just that but his confidence had really picked up too and he was charmingly talkative.
bolly_diva the story u told is getting comon day by day
n about those beards some women dont like long beards on their husbands and some do but i personally think juggy d type beards are best lol
