Re: Desi Fashion/Designers that I’ve stumbled across…
Thanks, this topic gets tons of views yet many ppl are not willing to add their own pics of designer wear they have spotted and what not to keep it going. I gave up on this awhile ago and then realized it’s a lot easier to store pics on here than to keep them piling up on my computer
pics from Sabs Salon in Lahore’s opening and I think they are wearing lajwanti outfits and Bushra Aftab did the jewelry which is actually really nice, and they have some unique pieces.
then I thought i’d google some of their bridal makeup shoots and found these pics…

Re: Desi Fashion/Designers that I’ve stumbled across…
Rizwan Moazzam recently updated their fb page with their latest bridal stuff, and I decided to post some of their older outfits towards the end. I will say the last time i was in pak (june 2010) I had 2 days to find a readymade suit for my cousin’s wedding. This store in dolmen mall was one of the places where I found a nice selection of readymade things already out on display. So ladies if you ever are in karchi and time is of the essence check out this store’s semi formal and formal collection as well: Rizwan Moazzam | Facebook
don’t hate me for saying this but I think pakistani saris are so overpriced that even the simplest ones are over 200 easily I just don’t get that. I’m sorry utsavsarees for the win but i’ll post up rizwanmoazzam’s saris. I find these colors and designs are so blah and dated, reminds me of benzerworld’s collection back in like I dunno 2004 or something:
[FONT=‘Segoe UI’, Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif]the other place I got a beautiful heavy anarkali for around 200ish was Mohsins on Tariq Rd. I did see a designer knock off salwar kameez hanging up but I wasn’t aware that this store does a lot of that stuff because it seems like their facebook page is all about showcasing runway designs. That’s a bit of a shame as I was hoping I could email them and see if they had anything comparable in price and heaviness suit wise that they could show me and I could order. Mohsin
Unfortunately their facebook is full of not their own merchandise but I was able to find an album with a few pics so hopefully this helps yall understand the quality of workmanship that I can vouch for. Also these next few pics were uploaded by them in july 2011 so keep that in mind:
now their website has nice bridals that i believe are their designs:
and formal btw i know some of these are repeats sorry!
For some casual dresses check out Sania Maskatiya:
Re: Desi Fashion/Designers that I’ve stumbled across…
I have a ton of pictures for yall and this time i’m not posting up links to facebook pages, or designer’s contact info. Instead the designer for most outfits is part of the file name of each pic, that or the events are listed. So please use that as a guide while looking and admiring these gorgeous creations.
Mina Hasan designs on Noor Jehan and her daughters, mashallah they are all so pretty
Real bride with a really pretty color combo for her mendhi
Re: Desi Fashion/Designers that I’ve stumbled across…
Ok again a lot of these are random images I found and I have to say i’m in loveeeeee with this pink maxi, does anyone know the designer of it?
^I have a feeling other girls will be just as in love with this dress as I am. Why i’m even posting it on here is beyond me maybe I should have kept this one to myself lol
Anyhow more random stuff I came across that may help girls decide jewelry options, dupatta settings, hair styles and so here are some beauty shots:
Re: Desi Fashion/Designers that I’ve stumbled across…
Images are mostly from Asiana’s fashion section and most of these pics have the designer label in the file name. Also some of these are old you can tell because shirts are shorter but I still felt the need to add them for color combo inspirations or just because I still found them to be very stylish:
Re: Desi Fashion/Designers that I’ve stumbled across…
Ok I see a ton of views yet no one wants to post. Common ladies a little encouragement will keep this thread going and I know yall wouldn’t want the fun in here to end would yall?
Anyhow Karachi Showcase 2012fjust finished and I have a few pictures from that and a random one from pdfc. I also posted some of Honey Waqar’s bridal asia runway because she showed the same stuff at karachi showcase (pretty much) and I found better pics of the lenghas/maxis through that runway show. Also ladies if you come across sites with pics I haven’t posted FEEL FREE TO ADD THEM or just pm me and i’ll get them up whenever I have a chance. I also have a lot of other stuff to add but since Karachi Showcase just happened I’ll add these first:
Again most pics are saved by the designers name so please don’t pm me about who made the design and so forth.
That’s all folks! Seriously if yall see more pics from this event please add them here.
Re: Desi Fashion/Designers that I’ve stumbled across…
Waseem Noor’s Collection. He really knows how to construct a dress. Some of them are flared but don’t add weight to the woman like a lot of other designers. Anyhow I like how he plays with colors, borders, lengths, and I hope yall have fun viewing this collection. His website is located here:
Waseem Noor began his career with the ladies wear brand, under the label of Waseem Noor. Looking at the range of colors exhibited in his stores (Flagship Stores: 5th Lane Zamzama Karachi, 1st Floor Forum and M.M. Alam Road, Walk Tower, Lahore), one can easily observe his love for colors and how he play around them, making each dress unique to itself yet apart from the rest.

There’s a contact form on the website, I don’t see anything else mentioned.
Re: Desi Fashion/Designers that I’ve stumbled across…
Ladies it looks like Shyamal & Bhumika have a facebook contest going on right now. Go to their page, Like them, and then share their contest picture on your wall or timeline. Also go to the picture on their page and leave a comment with your name and city and viola, you are entered to win!
Re: Desi Fashion/Designers that I’ve stumbled across…
I feel like Fashion Pakistan Week 2012 was really lackluster, boring, and drab. I’m not saying this about all designers but what do yall think does anything really stand out to you? Anyhow here’s some more from fashion pak 2012:
Umar Sayeed’s collection:
Bunto Kazmi’s collection:
Maheen Khan’s
A few pics from Maheen’s party wear collection:
Some random images from fash pak:
then I took a visit to the Dress Republic website and collected some of their images. Mind you the pics are other designer work that they replicate, it’s not the original designer pieces, this is a website like Bargello and based on reviews I don’t think I would order. However they do have a lot of designer dresses to look at and so here’s a peak at that stuff:
