Islam does not discourage or directly disaprove of bhai charay or munh bolay rishtay if anything it teaches us to be more carefull and maintain as many bands with people as possible, hence why many argue its a religion or peace love and harmony not just ordering people into a system.

I agree Islam and all the religions in the world teaches harmony and bonding between the human beings. If Islam brought the end to some traditions like not marrying to the wife of munh bola beta, it doesn’t mean that Islam forbid for not developing relations. How can a religion like Islam bar human nature?

The Prophet himself treat even friends of Hazrat Khadija with respect and used to send those ladies gifts even after the death of Hazrat Khadija (RA). This shows that Islam emphasise on relation building.
