no muqa, it is not derogatory. i think it is quite decent and funny.
Due to this usage, people (males) avoid using this word for their daughters.

khair, bachi is good word. it depends who is saying to whom. if a young guy is saying it then has a different meaning.

“kunjRaa, qasaaii” is quite derogatory, HaalaaN k yeh ek pesha hai jise zaat kaa naam de diyaa gayaa hai!
