Bai is used for sister or lady in marathi…like when some one is addressing his siter…some times parents or even strangers use this word while addressing or referring to a particular lady…

but in hindi movies it was an important suffix for Tawaifs

Maasi is Khala in Sindh. I think Mosi is also used for Khala in some areas of India. But now Massi is used for housemaids and khalas instruct their bhanjas not to call her Maasi
