Re: Democracy in Pakistan! Yes! Kenyan style
Pakpatriot is in denial. It's as if he woke up to Pakistani politics in 1999. Before he barely knew Pakistan existed.
The problem my friend, is that there were never checks and balances in the system... I support checks and balances..
This isnt about denial, its about politics... If you dont understsand the basics of democracy and how one functions, then you need to return to your studies...
A PM, that is going out of control has to be accountable to other branches of the govt, if it gets to the point where the PM refuses to accpet the decission of the SC, then that is a situation where the govt needs to be removed by force and a new election called...
The reason that NS went beyond the limits is that institutions within the country are not allowed to evolve and there arrise imbalances within the system... The Supreme Courts role in Pakistan can help remedy some issues, because it would balance the powers within the state..
Thats ultimately why Mush called the emergency, so as to not allow any balamce within the system and to destroy any checks and balances.
In the end, Democracy has to be allowed to continue, even with NS... Things have to be worked out democraticaly not through military dictatorship under one man who's incompetance has brought the country to its worst point.
Why is something so basic so alien to you? You obviously dont know anything beyond Karachi, everything you say is contrdiction, so why do you pretend?
