Delicate Question - For Those Who Pray Namaz ONLY

Ok here goes.

The question isnt a Mocck or Trick question, Nor Being Silly, Its something that could happen and people should know what to do.

I can gurantee that this question which am about to ask has Never been Posted. I already Know the answer to it :@: Its just that i wana know what you people think, how you would answer it, and what would you do if it happened..

So the Question is, A Person with their partner, fulfil their desire i.e. sex During the night - as it is permissable between a husband and wife, Now its time for fajar, so they do ghusal etc, and begin to pray. Once the person begins Namaz .. Flashing images of the Night come to mind.

So What would be the STATE of your namaz now, would it anul it, you carry on, what do you do?

keep in mind time for fajar running out otherwise you ll have to do kaza of it ..

PS. Please Give sensible Answers .. i.e. Not being silly …I already know the Answer ..Just for you people, its a lesson.

I don't think it would annul your salat. If it's just a thought and nothing else happens, I don't see any reason to abandon the salat for it.

Re: Delicate Question - For Those Who Pray Namaz ONLY

I will spit to the left three times … say auzdubillahiminashaitanirrajeem and then continue my prayer … The prayer will not be nulified, however any thought occupying our minds other than intense concentration on Allah (SWT) is a distraction from Shaitan and this is the method of getting rid of those thoughts.

:salam:

Br. Psyah is this symbolic spitting or actual spitting?

Re: Delicate Question - For Those Who Pray Namaz ONLY

As far as I know or have been told, it's alright, does not nullify the namaz.
I am sure Allah knows it can happen.

More you get worried about it, more it will come to you or distract you.

'Common' people prayer cannot be like sahaba's but one can struggle for it.

Just keep trying to concentrate on prayer.

Not sure if Nauz or spitting is 'really' needed.

Same goes for any other ideas like business problem or whatever.

i would also do this :)

Re: Delicate Question - For Those Who Pray Namaz ONLY

same as Psyah, Its worked and protect your namaz by any kind of FAZOOL thoughts

This concept is related to spiritualism if the man loves his wife as being quoted about love, ishq.

The mureed loves his murshid.
The mureed will see his murshid when he is offering prayers. He will sweat and cry during the namaz thru his murshid's blessings then.

:wsalam:

Good question … It is physical spitting without the saliva

This is really if the thought is persisting we must try to focus … if any thought comes into our mind we should bend it towards Allah (SWT) … such that if I think of my wife then I should think Allah (SWT) gave me my wife and then use that to focus on Allah (SWT) … ultimately if such thoughts do not go away then it becomes important for me to utlise the injunction in that hadith.

Re: Delicate Question - For Those Who Pray Namaz ONLY

Spitting 3 times; is not that Amal-e-kaseera and doing that will break your namaaz?

Sorry? ... Please read the hadith

Re: Delicate Question - For Those Who Pray Namaz ONLY

^ At some time, the prophet SAW said it was the sign of being pious if really bad thoughts come and the person cannot even describe them. Perhaps 'not describing' is meant by being pious.

Another time he SAW said something like, at least the shaitan is now down to the level of distracting good people. Will try to find exact words.

The essence here is that he SAW did not admonish people or got angry with them. Just advised to seek refuge and carry on.

There is a hadith on dry spitting however and it is not the 1729 as quoted in the link.

By the way, real spitting is allowed if needed during prayers, just not to the front or right side.

There are hadiths on...weather it is allowed in Masjid or not. I think in need during prayer its okay but not otherwise. (This needs to checked if interested)

Well, the Quran states in 5:6 states very clearly what nullifies your ablution. If you have had sexual orgasm you shall bathe. It DOES NOT say if you THINK about sexual contact with the opposite sex. So, if thinking does not nullify your ability to do prayer, it is only logical that thoughts won't nullify your prayer, as long as you do it correctly. The key is to focus on your prayers. If you are having bad thoughts, do your best to get your focus back on GOD. If you can't, implore GOD to help you do better next time. After all, GOD does not wish to make our religion difficult.
[Quran 5:6] O you who believe, when you observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), you shall: (1) wash your faces, (2) wash your arms to the elbows, (3) wipe your heads, and (4) wash your feet to the ankles. If you were unclean due to sexual orgasm, you shall bathe. If you are ill, or traveling, or had any digestive excretion (urinary, fecal, or gas), or had (sexual) contact with the women, and you cannot find water, you shall observe the dry ablution (Tayammum) by touching clean dry soil, then rubbing your faces and hands. GOD does not wish to make the religion difficult for you; He wishes to cleanse you and to perfect His blessing upon you, that you may be appreciative.
Peace

Islam Question and Answer - Distraction during salaat (prayer) by shaitan

This happened to one of the companions of the prophet (sahabah) whose name is Uthman Bin Abi Al-Aas, (may Allah be pleased with him), so he came complaining to the Prophet (peace be upon him), and he said: “The Shaitan comes between me and my salat and causes me problems with my recitation.” So the Messenger of Allah, (peace be upon him), said: “That is a shaitan called Khanzab, so if you feel his presence, seek refuge in Allah and blow a mist to your left three times.” He said: "I applied this advice and Allah has rid me off him."1 This hadith includes two ways to get rid off the shaitan of salat. The first is asking refuge in Allah from the shaitan’s evil by pronouncing the words of seeking refuge and this is OK in this case. And the second: blowing with mist to the left three times. This is basically blowing air in a similar manner to spitting, but with a minute mist of saliva, on the condition that this does not disturb or bother the person next to him, nor make the masjid dirty.

From the book What Should You Do in the Following Situations… ?

1 Sahih Muslim 2203.

Peace diwana

It’s not the coming of thoughts that is the problem … it is the allowing of those thoughts to be entertained during a time when the mind should be occupied with Allah (SWT), that is the question here.

A pious person is described in Arabic as Muttaqi - The God-Conscious … One cannot be pious and yet at the same time be increasingly useless as disbanding rogue thoughts from his/her consciousness.

Read Hadith Jibreel …

“…‘Tell me about ihsan.’ He said, ‘That you worship Allah as if you see Him, for if you don’t see Him then truly He sees you.’ …”

The Jibril Hadith Explained - Essentials of Islam, Iman & Ihsan

Let me ask you … if you saw God … ALLAH (SWT) can another thought possibly enter your mind? So, the condition of the best most ahsan prayer is that when our minds are not occupying rogue thoughts … WaAllahu Alam …

When it comes to admonishing … there is nothing as such being done here … a person asks for an answer and that is what they get … Look at my first post … I said that “I” would do this … I do not care for what others will do … but I have my reasons for doing what I said I would do …

i think i wud not be amle kaseer as it is allowed. imam bukhari has narrated this hadith.

Re: Delicate Question - For Those Who Pray Namaz ONLY

Close ur eyes when u start prayers after ALLAH-O-AKBAR and open them once when ur going to say salam. The concentration will not break.
